But what happened to Wellness??? I would've gone for that one for sure, but now I don't know.....
It used to be good right??? With real chicken and blueberries and veggies and fruits....
What happened?? I'm going to check the label next time I go in the store to see what's different...
They used to talk so highly about how their food was baked and therefore easier to digest. Then they sold out and stopped baking their food. That's what happened to Wellness. But I use Wellness canned food with my cats. It's one of the only one's they'll eat and is one of the best for UTI's. So it's not a bad company at all, even with the changes.
Talking about baked. Breeder's Choice Avo Derm is a baked food. It's great for large breeds with it being baked. Baked foods are easier to digest an their for less likely to cause bloat.
Eagle Pack makes a holistic large breed formula.
One of Timberwolf's formulas are designed for large breeds too.
Innova makes a large breed.
You know, Glenmar raises shepards, so I would probably go with Innova first seeing as she has already done the food expiramenting on the breed and has found what has worked.
