    Oye!!! Will it EVER end...

OK, took all six dogs out for a really good brushing this morning.  I use the funky rubber brush that you use backwards on the fur, then follow up with a slicker.  Left everyone outside so I could defur the house...did the rubber glove threatment and vacummed all the furniture, carpets, etc and then put on a pair of CLEAN socks.  Even after a very careful vacumming...you got it, the socks are furry.  So, three hours work for basically nothing.

I can ALMOST understand why people are tempted to shave their dogs.....

I feel your pain! I think they call it spring because the hair "springs" onto everything in sight! (with 6 you must be knee deep in hairbunnies)

It's a little deeper than that......

A house without fur is not a home.

    This includes furry socks...... ROFLMAO......

I so feel for ya tho. grinning here.

[sm=lol.gif] if you ever miss some, a guest is sure to comment, eh? I just had to change again (!) as I was dumb enough to wear a blue set of pants to head off to an appt. This after I wore black, and had to change. I am now going in sweats - heck it is only to the people doctor.

All this and the vac died a perm death this weekend. Will it never stop??

We don't have many guests so I'm not terribly worried about THEM, but gosh, I get tired of looking like I'm turning into a canine!!  I'm as furry as they are.  I actually keep rubber gloves in the CAR so I can defur out of the house!

Scout is a self-cleaning canine. Meaning that whatever fur flies off he attempts to eat as it gets caught up in little dust balls!  Most effecient dog ever.

Even if he didn't attempt to eat them up and cannot complain. His grooming is so minimal.  I think I've brushed him a total of 5 times in 2 years. And his fur is like eyelashes and does not stick to cloths. Now the cats, that's a whole other matter!

Must be nice, Em.  I brush my Jillian at least twice a day right now.  Kitties get brushed once a day (persian/maine coon mixes).  All I have to say is thank heaven for my Dyson.

Glenda, I feel your pain - I don't have as many dogs as you, but, we definitely have an abundance of fur in my house.

It definitely helps that my eyes are getting so bad that I can hardly see the hair anymore.  I only need them for reading, but if I happen to walk around with them on...oh boy, it's not pretty.

There is NO missing the fur around here.  RAY CHARLES could see it!  Even AFTER I vacume!
