I just went through this with Sheba. One of two things immediately come to mind as the likely cause.....she either got really upset at my being gone for something like 17 hours on Tuesday, OR she dug up the chicken neck that she'd buried and ate it. But, it could have been something else.
When she did eat, a tiny bit to please me, it came right back up. This lasted for TWO days and she clearly did NOT feel good. Her vet is on vacation and while I could have taken her to one of the others in the practice, THEY wanted me to wait and see. On the second evening she ate a few bites of chicken and rice and on the third morning she ate what I offered...less than she normally gets but I didn't want tostress her tummy. I gave her three small meals of chicken and rice yesterday and by last nite she was ready for a "real meal". Yesterday, she clearly FELT better and was playing with Tyler.
But, Sheba is a big girl (gsd) and I know her well enough to guage what's going on with her. With it being the weekend, I'd take the dog into the vet, just to be safe...and to save on an emergency vet visit tommorow.
