How often do you bathe your dog?

Zoe gets bathed every few monthes with a whiting dog shampoo.

Bear gets bathed when I can no longer stand the doggie smell.  I use Johnsons & Johnsons baby shampoo.

i dont plan on ever bathing emma unless something drastic happens to make it necessary.   she smells SO GOOD !!!!!  she totally doesnt need a bath.

the new guy, i dunno.  he kinda smells a little bit right now but that could be partly cause hes not neutered?  if he doesnt start smelling good like emma though, he might hafta go for a dip.

I bath my dog once every two weeks, though Mum wants me to bath her more often. I was told not to bath her more often than once every two weeks if I could help it.

Everytime they roll in something stinky or when we have somewhere to go.  *laughing*

I use the Vet Solutions Aloe & Oatmeal shampoo.  I love the smell and it doesn't irritate Tux's skin.

Either once a month or once every two months unless she's really dirty.

My guys get a bath every 2-3 months or so, depending on if they get dirty or not. I use "filthy animal" shampoo and a spray on conditioner I get from my vet. Can't remember the name, its like an oil spray, leaves their coats really soft. [;)] I also have a plush puppy conditioner I use periodically as well.

Max doesn't get a bath unless he rolls in something really gross.  He's short haired and it's pretty easy to just wipe whatever dirt he has on him off. I used to take my older dog to the groomer about every 3 months, but his hair would get long and matted if I didn't have him professionally done.

I bathe once a week for anyone in show coat and every 2-4 for anyone not showing depending on the needs of their coats.   Always shampoo and condition, suave and pantine are my current picks for the conditoners.

I use mane and tail detaingler for getting out tangles and clumps and the occasional matt.  I don't use anything with sunscreen, my dogs are from the desert and enjoy sunbathing and come in the house when they have had enough.

I think having to bathe a dog 3 times a day for a 5 day show circut is a bit much, but many do quite well with it.

I trim the nails at any old time it strikes my fancy.

Willow has been going to the groomers once a month.  But, last night I gave her her first home bath.  It didn't go too badly so I think I may start taking her for grooming every other month and just do a bath at home the other at least for the summer.  I'm not sure I'll be able to handle the winter coat fur at home.

Once a month. Too often and it dries out her skin, too little and she gets kinda flakey.

If I don't bathe my 10 year old at least twice a month, he starts to smell like Fritos.
I bathe my show girl once a week, the night before the show to give her coat body.

I use mostly Plush Puppy products.  I love their volumizing shampoo, clarifying shampoo, revitalizing foam conditioner and quick fix conditioning spray.

I had good luck with Petsilk, too, but I'm still trying to find the right fragrance...

Toby gets a bath every 10 days or so.... and he goes to the groomers for a haircut every 6 weeks.

I know that I heard you shouldn't give the dog a bath more than once a month I think...but that is because it dries out the skin and can take the natural oils out. I know they make shampoo that won't do that, though.

During the summer, Cassidy ( since it's warmer, and she gets baths in the kiddie pool ) gets a bath about every  2 months, maybe every month if we've got something going on,or she gets more dirty. Like she'll get a bath before her dog show, the parade, or when we'll be going on vacation. In the winter, though, she doesn't get a bath unless she rolls in something nasty. I use either a Hartz shampoo, or just the generic Ol' Roy shampoo; and she doesn't have a problem with those.
Mirelle has had 2 or 3 baths, and I've had her 4 months now. I use a puppy shampoo with her, and give her baths in the bathtub. I try to clip her nails after a bath if she needs them, but I'll also do it whenever they need it, not neccesarliy just after a bath. She also had an ear infection when she was younger, so I clean out her ears after a bath.

They're both good dogs for baths [:)] Cassidy is scared of the hose, but loves to swim. So she tries to avoid it, but will stand there in the kiddie pool when she's supposed to, looking sad. [;)] Mirelle just splashes in the tub, drinks her bath water ( yuck!) and plays with her squeaky bath toys [:D]

Spencer's bathing rituals really just depend... if we go somewhere and he gets lots of attention while we're gone, he usually gets a bath the next day. Never in my life have I seen a dog whose coat get's greasy in just a few days... He usually get's bathed about every week because of that. We use Petgold tearless Puppy Shampoo w/ skin conditioners. Works really well and smells like baby powder.
