I am shocked, Tooth gell is WORKING!

psssing this info along to my Mom...Nikki (shih tzu) teeth have always been an issue and maybe this will help!

so, will this stuff help with the bad breath too, in the long run?

I would think so. Kills bacteria. Just make sure the bad breath is not from an infection, or tooth that  needs pulling of course. They have to have vets look at them. Bad breathis often dirty teeth or infection in gums etc.
 
I can see this gel will last a LONG time. Easy if you just rub on the teeth too!

I ordered it for April along with a bottle of shampoo.  She loves the gel.  The products came withing 5 days too, could not believe the fast service!

I ordered this for Molly today. Her teeth are in great condition right now. I`m going to use this to keep them that way. Thanks for the info.

Did you guys get the regular stuff or the ones with salmon oil?

ok, I'm not trying to be hard to get along with here, just so you know........
 
I know that you said your vet said it was safe.
 
BUT, I am worried about the grape seed oil.  I know that grapefruit seed oil would be ok.  But, grape seed oil?  Since grapes are bad, couldn't whatever is on the grapes (fungus or whatever) that causes problems, also be in the seeds?  You can't very well get the seeds out without squishing the grapes all around them.  And, if it is a substance in the grape, and not a fungus on it, then it would also be in the seeds.
 
This is my reasoning for not using food with avocodo in it.  Too scary.
 
That is why I haven't tried it yet........
 
Does anyone know for sure the safety of the grape seeds?

cita - I ordered the gel without the salmon. They did say that for cats the gel with salmon is better to use.
 
chasza - Thanks for bring this up. I`ll have to look into grape seed extract before I use the product. Here is what the petzlife web site says about grape seed extract.

I hadn't read anything about them being seedless grapes.  Or maybe I read it, but it just didn't register.
 
I don't understand how  they can recommend 1 cup of "purple grape juice" since it is from grapes.  Or perhaps they mean to put the contents of a capsule into one cup of water?
 
Anyway........I just wanted to share my concerns. 

You can all ask your vets. I, you should. I ask about everything I use. I  have a call to my vet about the ingredient. My vet office has four vets, this one is in charge of dentals as well as the reg. vet care. She is due in the office soon and I will get a call soon I hope.

I just heard back from my vet. She said the grape seed extract is fine. Just ask your vets if you are not sure.
