I am shocked, Tooth gell is WORKING!

That tooth gel from Petzlife is working! I didn't expect much, certainly not in a week or two! I am shocked and happy! Trudy had a tooth that had a dark area, it is almost all gone. All of her teeth look much cleaner! I WISH I had taken a before pic.

Okay, I'm sold. I'm picking up a bottle of this next time I have some spare cash.

Does Trudy mind the taste? Did you introduce it really gradually, or just open 'er up and let 'er rip?

Trudy licks her lips when I tell her it is time to clean her teeth, ha. She does not mind the taste of her toothpaste, wipes or this Petzlife gel. I always introduce things slowly. I let her smell it. Later, lick it. Next time, put a tiny bit in her mouth. She is fine with it. I sometimes use my finger and put the gel on her teeth. Sometimes I use the tiny, soft toothbrush. Since the gel seems to soften plaque, the brush gets if off the tooth. Using wipes would also work. I will wash off the wipes and put this get on next time. I do not like to brush too often.

You know, brushing OUR teeth too hard is bad for the gums. I use an extra soft brush for my teeth... SO, I am very careful to be gentle and not brush Trudy's teeth every day.

I have been putting the gel in most every day. After the teeth are clean, you can do it less often.

I do NOT believe everything I read so I was skepticle. I printed everything from the site and took it to the Vet. She said it was safe.

You can do the same with your vet.  I would say everyone should check out the ingredients if you want to feel safe. I just do all I can to keep Trudy from having to get a dental. Her teeth are always good, but lately, getting dirty.

It is so neat that this is working. I can see that the gel will last for a long time!

Cita, I am sure that if it does not help, you can get your money back also.

That's fantastic, Sally! I'm going to order some, too, when I run out of what I have. It sounds much better than the stuff I've got.

I hope it helps other doggies too. On another thread someone said it was very good for them. I just had my grown son come and look at the spot I had mentioned. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't wishful thinking. He said it is night and day! Almost no dark spot left. Again, if you look at that site, they list stores that sell it. Not just online.

You can ask your vet to look at it.

[:D]Well I'm going to have to get some for Bog too! He's not very good about my brushing his teeth so this will hopefully help. Thanks for the info....Do you use the gel with salmon oil or the regular?

That's awesome! I'm going to look at it right now for Gingerbread!

That's great Sally.  I'm going to try it too.
Willow's are a challenge to keep clean because she doesn't like to chew.
    Thanks!

Can you post the link for that site again? Tookey's teeth are getting bad, even though I brush them, and he's so old I really don't want him going under for a dental.

Wow, I thought about buying it this week but was skeptical, maybe it's worth a try. I did buy the petzlife shampoo for Otto the Mango one with the cranberry oil and it smells awesome!!!

Thank you! I found a grooming salon near here that sells it, and the owner said they are tracking all their clients that use it and are really seeing a difference as well. I'm going to pick some up this week.

I hope you all get good results! You should take a before pic. I just really didn't think it would work, so I didn't, too bad!

I hope everyone will post and tell us how it is going.

Who is the one that told us about the Petzlife gel? I cannot remember. I am very happy he or she told us about it!

A post by Dax702 (boxer teeth cleaning thread) was the first time I'd heard of it. Thanks, Dax! I'm excited at the prospect of, with any luck, never having to put Rascal under anesthesia again.

Thanks, that's it! Boxer thread! Well, this may at least put off dentals, or let our dogs have fewer. I am sure it is not a cure all, just seems pretty good to me!
