Well, it's been almost a month, and there are some changes. First of all, he has been to the vet again, about 4 weeks ago now. She was extremely please with his improvment. All the scabs and stuff under his fur on his back was gone, he was looking very good. There were a couple red hot spots, but she didn't seem to concerned. Basically instead of spending the time/eefert of finding a particular underlying allergy, we decided to see if we could just control it.
So for the last month, he has taken a Biotin vitamin, 5 Omega-3 capsules and 4 antihistimines a day. The antihistimine is Chlorpheniramine. He's also still on the venison/brown rice allergy food.
He seems to be getting progresivly better with one symptom, and staying the same in another. He does not have any hot spots or red sores or eruptions anymore. His skin looks pretty normal, and his hair is extremely long/thick on his underside (but its been really cold to). So I'm very happy about that, at least there arn't anymore big sores.
But the part that is staying the same, is the comedones (at least thast what I think they are). They are only in certain spots, and they do not go away. They are around the base, very close to, or on the nipples, and the belly button. One of the nipples seems kind of enlarged to. So I've been trying to find out info about that, but can not find anything. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
