TRAUMEEL ROCKS!!! It is awesome stuff.
Now -- are you using the pellets? or the Topical rub?? USE BOTH. Traumeel also comes in an injectible (if you have a holistic vet -- mine will do a series of what she calls 'aquapuncture' -- Traumeel and Vit B given in tiny injections along acupuncture points.
The tablets you can give every single day with absolutely no problems at all.
It comes in both a cream and a gel for topical use. They both work INCREDIBLY well topically -- it will help heal the surgical site (you can use it topically right on the scar tissue)
It is incredible stuff -- for ANY sort of inflammation (I use it for my arthritis as well). Traumeel is good for any sort of "trauma" -- from bruising to surgery to arthritis and beyond.
A couple of years ago I fell on my own front stoop -- I was hurrying up the steps and tripped and literally fell ONTO my shoulder jamming it and my neck up against the doorstep.
I never even went into the house -- I simply picked myself up (knew I was hurt pretty bad actually but knew I hadn't broken anything) got in the car and drove straight to my acupuncturist.
She use the injectible form of Traumeel and gave me an injection both into my shoulder AND my neck. (and some acupuncture as well). But this is a shoulder I injured BADLY when I was in college (I dove off a 3 meter tower into the pool without having my thumbs locked and came really close to a mega dislocation -- and that was 37 years ago). That shoulder is my weakest link and I knew I'd re-hurt it badly.
But amazingly enough -- the next day I was sore but not nearly in as much pain as I would normally have been.
Traumeel is just plain incredible stuff -- I'm glad Erin mentioned it because I forgot to. It's something I use on myself and the dogs ALL the time.
