Do you put dress up your dog?

We tried a cap on Peanut, she kept shaking he head to get it off.  Then we tried a bandana, break her in slowly, she pawed & slipped it over her neck to get it off.  We gave up!  Too bad, I loved that cap.[&o]

We only dress up our dogs at Christmas time.  You know, we put antlers on them like reindeer.  LOL.  They hate every minute of it, but I think it's funny and the kids love it.  I'm so bad.

OMG! OMG! Some of those pictures were totally outrageous! My poor dog doesn't even have a fancy collar. Just an old chain around his neck to hang his tags on. Poor Baby!

Dressed up dogs kinda weird me out to be honest. It's like watching Americas Funnniest Videos. I can't help but laugh when someone falls or gets hit 'you know where'. I hate amusing myself at someones elses expense, but darn it I can't NOT look. Thanks for the great chuckles everyone!

I  have never dressed a dog up at any time, in the ways of nails, hats, and so on, but  I do understand owners love for the pet.

I have mixed thoughts about dressing a dog and I will keep them to my self. I have always owned Gun Dogs and the most we use is a wax coat rain cover, to go over the dog in hard rain, if we are standing still for anytime. Love to see dogs runing free with out things in the way.

I dress my 2 up more when it's cold out ...Buffy, my Shih-Tzu, is pretty hot natured. Sabrina, my Schnauzer, is about average. Kind of depends on if I've had her groomed or not. I REALLY love to dress mine up for Halloween and Christmas. I have a pic of my precious long coat Chihuahua (Puddles) in her Halloween costume too. God rest her sweet little soul...I still miss her terribly.
I'll upload some pics when I figure out HOW to get them out of my Adobe Photoshop Album Starter program. In the meantime, I'll post this pic of Puddles on Halloween.

They get bored and end up in the costume section and have a blast.

Oh My God DPU those pics just break my heart! Especially the one on the left, they both look silly and especially misearable[&:] This is what i mean by outfits serving no purpose, except for the owners weird fetish, neither of those outfits are "dog friendly",the yellow raincoat thing looks like it would impede the dogs vision!

By all means put a functional coat on them to keep them warm, but these are our loyal devoted companions who deserve the utmost dignity and respect,By putting silly little costumes on them we are taking these away from them, and turning our DOGS into fashion accessories ala Paris Hilton and co!

Hi I'm new here and I just joined this forum. I want to say that I so enjoyed looking at all your furbabies dressed up. It makes me feel like I am sane...lol... and I'm not the only one that dresses up my furbabies too.

You did a great job with the nails!  Wow! That was really detailed and nice. I tried to paint my dogs nails last night and although she was very good, I made it into a disaster - polish all over her fur.  What brand of polish do you use for them?
