Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

    I have been following Browine posts. I am so sorry for your loss. Lhasa Apsos have a special place in my heart. Please send my healing thoughts to your mom and dad. Healing thoughts to you also. I know this is hard thing to go through. Prayers for all of you.

    Tracy - you were so right about the horrible silence.  When they came home, they were floored by it.  Brownie wasn't quiet with anything he ever did.  I miss him but I know it's even harder for them.  Your posts always touch my heart.
     
    Sherry, I'm sorry about Muffy -- I bet they're already hangin' out together.  [:)]  Mollymoo, thanks for following Brownie's posts... I was so hoping he'd turn out to be a miracle. 
     
    Thanks to everyone for all the prayers and support AND for all the thoughts about what Brownie might be doing and the big gang of friends he's probably already made.  My parents so appreciate all of us and so do I.  I love this forum [:)]

    What a lucky dog Brownie was to have been loved so well.  RIP, little one.

    What a special boy! He was lucky to have so people who loved him and that you saved him Missy.  I hope your folks can make it thru this hard hard time.    Brownie, that lazy ole bulldog sleeping over there is Holly.  She'll be up to say hello at chowtime.  God luv ya Brownie...Pam, Lola, Red, Zeus,

    So sorry for your family's loss - Brownie was clearly quite a character - fairly bursting at the seams with personality.  I'm sure the emptiness and silence in your parents' home is crushing; I never understood silence could be deafening until the night of our beloved cat's unexpected passing. 
     
    It's so special that you all found each other and that you all gave him the love and extra care he needed to be in this world for as long as he was!
