My dear Frisby died in her sleep last night. I was stuck off island because of the hurricane, but her Grandpa and Grandma were with her to care for her. She went to sleep and then over to the Bridge at home. She spared her Grandpa seeing her go; she waited til he tucked her in for the night and then flew away. She was a brave girl through all her IMHA illness and treatments. We had just scheduled her surgery to remove the tumor by her bum, but I’m guessing it was much more complicated than we thought it was. Frisby, you’re with your sisters Nixxi and Celeigh. Meet your other sisters Spot, Holly, Muffin and Mousse. Tell them all Mama loves them and misses them. No more illness sweet girl. Mama loves you.

OK...Mama Universe, time to stop taking our dogs please. I am so very sorry to hear that you lost Frisby. It sounds as if she left peacefully. My sincerest condolences to you and your family. Run free Beautiful.

I am soooo sorry. I have to admit that I want to go as peacefully as she did. I want that for all our furry friends as well.

I'm so so sorry Kate. I'm totally shocked. Frisby was so lucky to have a mom like you with the love and devotion you showed. There's gotta be a need for special dogs at the bridge lately.

Frisby darling.....look around for a pretty golden cocker girl named Sadie....she'll show you the bestest spots to play and rest while you wait for your momma.

Oh Kate -- she fought such a GOOD fight for so long, but had so much going on. Frisby -- I know you're pretty busy up there beyond Rainbow Bridge, but if you see a little MOstlie Sheltie hanging with another buffy cocker named Muffin, tell them Hi for me please?? And if anybuddy has it all figgered out why all the special dogs are being called it will be Muffin. He always was the dog "in the know". And Foxy, with SpiritDogs Dancer -- those two have EVERBUDDY organized so you'll know all the I-Dogs in a glance!!

That had to be so tough, not being able to be there. My heart is with you.

Frisby girl I am sure you are running fast and free and meeting your sisters and all the other wonderful dogs at the Bridge.

I know not what is happening in the universe but it has been a devastating time for so many in recent weeks, I have certainly run out of words Broken Heart
