    Can we say hypocritical abuse of power??? 

    There has been a recent thread on jello shots where a mod contributed to the thread.  I'm not sure that there is a huge difference between jello shots & drinking games....

    I'm sorry that you feel that way.  I was not involved in the referenced thread nor do I know what Mod was.

    I closed the thread simply because it seemed that the subject of the drinks could cause some problems.  I have spoken at length with the OP who understands my position.  Please feel free to take this issue up with Jaime or Jill.  As I told the OP, I have no problem with my decision being reversed.  This was a precautionary closure and if they feel that it's OK, then I'm fine with that.  I'm human and I do make mistakes and I'm not afraid to admit that.  However, if I'm going to mess up, I'd rather err on the side of caution.

    However, in the future, I would appreciate your taking your complaints to PM.

    I really do like being "global" mods, but we need to leave a footprint when we edit, or do so manually, so that these folks know who to *** about.  This would explain her earlier post wanting to know who edits and where.

    I honestly knew nothing about the jello shots thread, but I'm guessing that it didn't include references to CM.

    I'm sorry, but in my opinion ANY discussion of this guy has become so danged divisive that I just want to scream.  I don't have major issues with the man.....even tho his methods IMO are rather ancient.....but his supporters are like a bloody CULT.

    Grrrrrrr!  And kindly do NOT attempt to extinguish my growl.  I WILL bite.  LOL
