jello shots

Does anyone out there have any suggestions/ideas/recipes for Halloween themed jello shots? I thought about a red colored jello with ??? vodka or snappes and putting some gummy body part candies in them. But...how do I get the candy to float in the middle of the shot?

Could you just stick the candy in while its still in liquid form and then it will gel around the candy...right? I never did it I'm just assuming.

You can do an orange and black theme,errr wait, do they make clear jello and black food coloring?? lol..

Think you wait til it's starting to "set" then you add the chunks of whatever....that way they're suspended in the center and not going to sink to the bottom. Now you do know that is a major choking hazard because people just squeeze the whole thing into their mouths lol...

Drunk people are like kids...and things that they woudn't do normally...like choke on something they know is in there...they might do, while drunk.

Perhaps doing some orange and dark purple (black) jello shots and toppin the cups with "blood" in the form of cherry snowcone syrup might be safer?

I agree with Gina here, putting somthing solid is a HUGE no no for jello shots. People don't eat them, they swallow them whole, especially when they are drunk. You are asking for an aspiration! Maybe do layered ones. If you pick a few different colors you can pour a little more on after the first layer firms up, I think they have black and orange ones too.
