Recruiting efforts to leave this forum?????

Really people have a right to go to whatever forum they wish and even sending someone a PM is not a bad thing, if you find a place that looks like fun and want to share it with someone that should not be a problem.

 I have noticed it is quieter here and it does not seem like there are as many people posting as before. Since the new forum came I have been listed as a "more active" poster and if I am in the top running then that means that a lot of people are not posting like they used to. I am hoping it is because of the forum problems and that they come back once everything is worked out.

 I like the layout of this forum and I am now accustomed to the changes, but activity is important also. I am a member of a few forums and have been lurking at the chaz one but I prefer the layout here and hope everyone returns to it.

anyway we shall see

 also to me the posts calling for punishment seem to be meant in a joking light hearted manner, I did not get the impression that anyone was serious about punishing anyone.... did I miss read?

I can't come back until I return the supply truck back to the depot, change the oil, re-pack the wheel bearings, scrub it down and check it in to the quartermaster.

I like and agree with your post.  And a fresh start could mean an apology given to this forum and the members that were bashed on the other forum, even though the comments were lightly cloaked.  But look what happened today.  Talk of garters snapping, viagra, use of the word wuss, stalking, lecturing loyal members, etc.  We are suppose to be a family friendly forum.  This stuff didn't exist here a week ago. 

Please just give it up, there's not a problem.  People enjoy multiple boards.  Whoopie. 

 A lot of people left.  Many came back though they still post here.  Obviously I wouldn't be posting here if I didn't enjoy the forum.

I think it is silly of people to bash anyone on a forum. It is normal to get opposing views and sometimes it can be frustrating to discuss things, I know I have been frustrated a few times when I get the impression that because I have used a prong collar I am therefore a demon from hell. But in the long run I think we sometimes read things into others posts, I know I have been guilty of this, having only written communication makes it difficult to really know what the person on the other end is saying. The force thread is a good example, people say "oh you use force" and that is interrputed as "you are a bad and inhumane trainer" but that is not really what they meant by the comment.

 Anyway they will return or they will not. I like this forum and will continue to visit it and post along with the other forums I visit.
