As you've seemed to gloss right over the top of Ed and Kate and Shelly's posts that say exactly what I meant when I wrote this thread... you seem to come to this thread and look to pick a fight.

I said, in NO uncertain terms that this was targeted at those people who are fighting. So, heck, maybe you should be offended by this thread... since that's what you seem to do. What this thread was meant as was a wake up. If i said "Hey guys.. let's just all get along" do you think anyone would have taken a second glance? How many people have tried that tactic. ... has it seemed to matter? Well, look around we are at ground zero. So, I'm gonna say, "no."

This is ridiculous. I have to laugh... because I thought no one would dare fight on THIS thread ((LMAO)) because it goes to prove the point of the OP, ME.

If you look around, I haven't been involved in ANY of the arguments. I in fact disappeared off idog for about 3 weeks, seeing if things would blow over.

The have, if anything, intensified. I say this as a person who has stepped back, away from everything.

This is a sad fact... and one everyone is working to perpetuate it. So my point stands, why don't we ALL get a life... when you feel like fighting arguing or other, go do something useful. ... come here to share. Come here to make friends, be friends, be friendly... and use this excesive energy in a positive way.

Now... i'm off to work.

That's not what was said. The post was referring to those on the forum who are arguing all the time, which there has been FAR TOO MUCH of recently, not the general dog.com population. It wasn't even referring to people who do spend hours on here...just those who spend those hours concentrating on the negative.

I think it's great that this thread is still standing unlocked! So many other forums edit,lock and delete threads to within an inch of their lives.Debates are never allowed to start,threads that contain arguments get deleted altogether,it drives me nuts!This is one of the most unstifling forums where everyone can enjoy freedom of speech that i am a member of!

Actually, I wanted the thread closed so how was that looking for a fight? And, I also wasn't involved in any of the arguments that have been going on in other places here.   Also, you seem to overlook the other people here who agreed with me. 

But, whatever you seem to think this was an OK thing to put out there.  But, I'm not going to change my thinking that this either could of not been done at all or done in a nicer way.

Then why did you just dig up a thread everyone wanted to let lie just so that you could bust chops on Lori? I have to agree with Lori. It looks as if she is being tracked and accosted, even in threads that have been dead for a while. And for what? To continue an old argument or just to argue personalities? Sometimes, a person doesn't have to be on for very long to stir things up. And, again, for what? To add acrimony? And what good is that?

I want to thank you for this thread!!!  I took you advice today, & spent a considerable amount of time training my dogs.  With 5 dogs, yes you read that right, 5 dogs, I should be spending more of my time training.  We made great progress today.  Shooter is ready for his therapy dog testing, & should be able to get his CDX.  Schatzi is ready for CGC testing, & Bevo can back up for 100 yards (we practiced on a football field today), both on leash, off leash & by voice command without me by his side.  I'm so excited!!! 
 
If you have any more suggestions on how I can "get a real life" please let me know.
