I was describing it over the phone to my BF and he said, 'I don't mind half-naked women on TV...I just can't stand PETA!'

Ooooh!  That could make for a REALLY erotic ad as they lick the ranch from one another.

Bad taste?Absolutely,but no worse in my opinion than those rediculous Victoria's Secret ads.

Victoria's Secret has started including simulated sex in their ads???

Vegetarians, vegans especially, can't use ranch dressing. It contains milk and egg.

 Victorias Secret offends me with thier objectification of women and the uber-perfect bodies clad in overpriced nighties and underwear which are clearly designed for the sexual needs of men.The PETA ad is just more of the same.

That raises an interesting point. The guys I work with might enjoy watching the commercials but we're still going to eat dead animals. Makes you wonder to whom the ad is directed.

Ah, reminisent of the old Hooters argument.  It annoys me that I "burned the bra" so that young women today can objectify themselves by dressing like they belong on a street corner.  But, the bottom line is that I DID fight for womens right to choose.  They just aren't choosing the things I'd like fo rthem to choose.  But, I fought to give thm that right so I can't gripe too much about their choices of behavior or wardrobe.  I'm just glad that I didn't have daughters.

I've no doubt the ad is geared toward younger men.Few people "go veg" after they hit their thirties unless there is a health reason.If they were targeting women there would have been a few dudes in there.

When I invited DS to come closer so I could slap him upside the head he looked at me nd said "aw, come on mom.....hot babes?  And I DO love veggies".  So yeah, youngerr men ARE going to watch, but it's doubtful they'll change their eating habits.

 I showed this to Alex just to see his reaction. After he stopped laughing, all he said was those girls needed to put on some weight and get rid of the veggies.. He's 25 and didn't interest him at all. Although he did find some of the other Peta ad's equally as entertaining, such as the one with the two cat's goin at it when the owner leaves the house.. Sorry but cat's in heat aren't gonna wait til you're gone. Lol
