Seminar at U of FL for anyone interested (Callie)

They aren't having the Dog Owners & Breeders Symposium this year (Crying ) but they ARE doing this.  You don't have to live here to go to this (if anyone is close enough to FL to drive and there are awesome dog-friendly hotels in the Gainesville area):

All ChildrensThe College of Veterinary Medicine is committed to enhancement of animal health and welfare. The mission of our new Maddie's® Shelter Medicine Program is to enhance the health and welfare of homeless animals through education, innovation, and advancement of the life-saving goals of sheltering programs.

We are pleased to invite veterinarians and technicians to a full day of continuing education covering two very important challenges in shelter medicine: reducing shelter admissions by developing efficient neutering programs targeted to the most important sources of unwanted animals and improving outcomes of impounded animals by controlling infectious diseases in the shelter.

Please join us on November 1st for a full 7 hours of continuing education for veterinarians and technicians. You also have the option to stay over to attend Operation Catnip's mass feral cat neuter clinic on Sunday, November 2.
