" I wasn't asking people to question wether I bring her, just if they had any clothes for her."
But when you bring up such a situation, you are opening yourself to questions. We' are also trying to give additional advice for the health of your
dog, which is what you were worried about in the first place.
Keep her off the ground as much as possible if she has not finished vaccinations - distemper is a big one. If an infected coyote, raccoon, weasel, otter, skunk, badger, dog, etc has urinated or defecated anywhere, and your pup ingests some, breathes in any particle by sniffing, or gets some on her and then licks it off.....major problems. Also be on the lookout for fleas and ticks, both of which has quickly and severely affect a very small puppy.
Ask any vet about how easily a pup can chill, and relay the info to your mom. I am sure that she will change her mind if you show her actual veterinary advice +/- the advice of very experienced members of the forum, and may even lend you some money.
The other good option, if you are set on going, is the thrift store/Goodwill/YMCA as was suggested before. You can get infant clothes there which might possible work. You could also try making your own if donations do not come in
We are trying to suggest more options for you, everything from getting a dogsitter to talking to your mom/relaying information to cheap places to get clothes. Because what happens if you can't get any? Just saying. We mean well.
