US Soldier Throws Puppy Off Cliff

How could anyone do that? What's wrong with these people? I don't want this person representing me in any way.  

I saw that video last night and was so disgusted I could barely eat my supper. 

I cannot watch this video.  The morning radio show that I listen to discussed and aired audio of this and it broke my heart.  They debated whther a US Soldier would be capable of doing such a horrible thing or if the video is even real. They stated that the puppy was a St. Bernard and "what is  St. Bernard puppy even doing over there to begin with?" YES, unfortunately, an American soldier is capable of doing this, duh - American soldiers have been court martialed and convicted of raping and killing civilians "over there." There are sick f__ks everywhere!! I sent an email to the morning show asking them to refrain from airing animal abuse stories - I didn't appreciate having my morning ruined..... I suggested that they discuss how we can help homeless animals and to "bring our pets inside when it's going to be really cold out." (Yep, it gets cold at night here in Florida too.) They were more concerned with being the first to break this story - I just don't want to start my day that way. That soldier should be punished for what he did! 

Several internet sites are saying that the perp is a Marine named David Motari.  A quick Google search revealed that someone with that name did post to a message board about another issue, and stated that he was currently serving in Iraq, but thus far, all people can say is that the perp bears a resemblance to this person.  His address has also supposedly been posted, and some sites are replete with threats of violence against the guy.  That may be premature, but whether the video is accurate or not, I am even disgusted by the thought of someone doing this, or even performing the action as a hoax.  I hope that those who are already forwarding the video to their congressional reps get some action to figure out if this is a real tape and if it really is a U.S. soldier.  I know one thing if it is - he deserves a dishonorable discharge for conduct unbecoming a member of the armed services and being a disgrace to the uniform.
