A friend of mine was down there recently and said there is a big flea market where there were more than 20 people selling puppies. Her hubby said a lot of the pups smelled like urine/feces, as if they had been plucked from their cages and brought to the market... Can you say "backyard puppy mill"???? If there are any idoggers in that neighborhood, perhaps you could provide a little undercover scrutiny and report any bad stuff you see to the local authorities or nearest SPCA - any sick or dirty pups, etc. Maybe pose as a buyer, find out where the "breeders" property is and go see the rest of the pups for yourself. If we can expose irresponsible kennels, maybe we can stop them.
