    No, I mean we lack animal abuse laws. Nearly every state has dogfighting as a felony. As I said on the old board, we do not.
     
    So, tomorrow at 10:00 is a gathering of dog lovers (and animal lovers) at the Capital to protest/demand that we seriously consider putting some stringent laws into place. For those who don't care about animals--we're telling them that we don't want gambling (through violence) in our state.
     
    Wish Idaho luck. Good grief. What message are we sending out?

    Good luck, Idaho!!!  That kind of cruelty is a felony here, as it should be everywhere.  Stick with it - you'll succeed.

    I too am upset with my state's laws. They have tried to pass a law many times where severe animal abuse (dog fighting, cock fighting, exc) is a felony and it has yet to succeed. Good luck, I hope you all can make something happen...
