These dogs either need homes, fosters, or help from other rescues.
Please Crosspost.
A friend of mine runs a small time rescue, and she has had a few problems and needs some help. She deals with mostly ACD#%92s but will basically take anything that needs a place if she has room.
She is in Oregon, near Salem, and due to the recent bout of bad weather, her outdoor runs are water logged, which means every dog is currently in the house. Added to this the heating boiler has gone out and she needs to get it repaired ($2000 or there about) as she now has no heating and is using space heaters to keep the dogs and cats warm, she is boiling water to bath etc. In addition she has had a rescue dog (Sophie) diagnosed with granulomatous meningoencephalitis or "GME. (Sophie#%92s bill has now hit well into four figures) The shelter is NO KILL, so while Sophie has quality of life she will be treated and remain at the Sanctuary.
This is a one-woman operation and the fact is she needs help. This is where you come in.
RESCUES: Does anyone have space for a Dog? Either as a foster or intake.
GABBY, she is not good with cats, is an escape artist, and has some dog aggression due to poor socialization. (The rescue has been working on this and she is improving. Here is her pet finder write-up [link

Notes: Gabrielle, aka Gabby, is a beautiful girl! Her coat of hair is as soft as an angel's hair! And unlike her name might suggest, Gabby really can't bark. She can only make quiet little, muffled squeaks.
Gabby loves to go for long-walks; is very good on-leash; is totally housebroken; and loves to ride in cars. Gabby is happiest staying indoors for the majority of her time, unless she is out playing, going potty, or going for a walk. Gabby needs a secure fenced yard and/or someone who will be with her while outside - as she gets afraid that she is going to be left behind. She is very good and very quiet in the house. Gabby wants to be close to her human and be part of their life. She doesn't want to be locked in some small enclosure, like she used to be before she came into rescue!
Gabby would do best without cats or small children in her new home, because "if they run, she will chase"! - Typical Aussie!
Gabby is spayed and up to date on her shots.
Let us know if you would like to come and meet Gabby. She is being fostered here at AARRFF, South of Salem

Notes: Hi, my name is Nemo...but I am still waiting for someone to find me! I got lost in Central Oregon, but the shelter took me in. When I ran out of time for my family to find me, AARRFF took me into rescue. I am only about a year and a half old; neutered; up-to-date on all vaccinations; and housebroken! I love to ride in the car; I walk like a total gentleman on-leash; I get along well with other animals; and I LOVE people! I rarely bark - my foster mom says that I am one of the calmest, most well behaved dogs that she has met in a long time! I can even do some tricks for you! I only weigh 43 pounds. I am a lovely mixture of a Cattle Dog and an Australian Shepherd. Do you see how cute that combination came out? I can't wait to get into my "forever" home.

There is also 2 older ACD#%92s Max and Penny.
Nemo has some slight dog aggression but again this is due to poor socialization, which the rescue has been working on.
In general AARRFF needs word to get out, they need donations, but as of yet they are not 501c3 so donations are slow if not stationary.
