• Rescue Run ron2 Posted : 11/23/2006 9:39:52 AM Third Annual Rescue Run On Saturday, November 11th, 187 participants ran or walked for the third year through the downtown streets and historic district of Sherman for the City's third annual Rescue Run benefiting the Sherman Animal Shelter. This special day saw 88 pets adopted (52 dogs and 36 cats) at the Municipal Grounds, at the Animal Shelter, at PetCo and at PetSmart, leaving no cats and only a few dogs at the Shelter needing new homes. The above was posted on the city site of Sherman, Tx., and I missed it. I found it researching something else.
