I voted and I hope that my previous votes counted because today I noticed that I had to confirm my vote.  I may have been too quick to exit the voting site before.  Sorry.

ETA: I wished I had spotted this thread sooner. Some of you may know of my affection for sled dogs and sled dog breeds.

 Thank you VERY MUCH for clicking for our shelter! We won the $1000 state prize, beating out Anchorage, which is quite a feat! Thank you so much, the dogs up here will have a little more of what they need (and the kitties, too, and occasional guinea pig and whatever!)!

That's great news. I know why you live in Alaska. It's the state big enough to hold your heart.
