I haven't heard a store clerk say "Merry Christmas" for at least a couple of years now. It's "Happy Holidays." What used to be called "Christmas Vacation" and "Easter Vacation" are now "Winter Break" and "Spring Break" and have been for a good long while. doG forbid we should utter the words "Christmas" or "Easter" out loud.
