Guide dog kicked

If I were there and saw it happen, the kid might not see the light of the next day.
      I'm so angry, me too!

Like most abhorrent behavior, I find it astonishing that the thought to kick the dog even crossed the kid's mind, let alone the follow up action to DO IT!  If this is the type of person that multiplies into generations to come, we're all in trouble.

I am really surprised an adult did not intervene either...even the person who told the woman what happened.  I am one to speak up even if at times it turns out that I was not really seeing what was happening...

I think it was over and done so quick, people were so shocked they didn't know how to react and then the kid had gone. A lot of times, people are scared to intervene.  Normal people who have just said "hey, keep the noise level down" or "You can't do that" when yobs have been misbehaving have ended up in hospital.  I think people should say when something is not acceptable, at least some of the kids might realise they can't get away with what they do.  But having said that, I'm  not sure I'd have the courage if I'm really honest.  Unless it was an animal.

And many young punks today wouldn't care what you said. That's why there is some value in some kind of punishment or correction. They have to understand that there is a consequence to an action and that consequence needs to be a bit tougher than just calling them "not a nice person."

I also think some humans can be born with a bad temperment and PTS may be the best alternative.

How old are you? I'm young too and these kids are just IDIOTS and they do make us look bad! I would never kick a dog! I don't care if it was attacking me I would Never kick it! This shows how much respect young people DON'T have anymore! This is outrageous! That poor woman could have lost her way if the dog was seriously injured!

Wow. I was angry to hear of a properly identified SAR dog being beaten by a man with a golf club because it was a "pit bull" type dog. But somehow there is something even more nauseating about a young person being cruel to a helpless animal and disabled person for personal amusement...frankly, I feel sorry for the kid too, wondering what kind of background he came from...
