Cathy, can I stowaway in one of your suitcases?  I want a vacation! Crying

Amanda, I had first dibs so you can't go...neener neener

And yes, it is likely to snow in Vermont in late November.

    Absolutely. The more the merrier.

Yikes, I burned the roof of my mouth the other day on some soup and then scraped the area all up yesterday eating a tortilla chip. It hurts like he!! and especially when I try to eat anything. Sad

Is it, by chance, snowing in Vermont in late November?

If they live up near Killington, then, most likely, yes.  Maybe not a tremendous amount, but the slopes are usually open for Thanksgiving, and the ski resorts are pissed when they aren't, because they lose butt-loads of money.  Farmer's Almanac can be surprisingly accurate.

Tina, I'll have to get back to you on that one.... have you been reading too many threads where you wanted to say something but avoided it?  Anyway, I have to spend time actually analyzing, will get back to you.  If it turns out naughty, I'll PM you instead of putting all your business out there! lol

Glenda and Amanda - loving the new sigs for both of you!!  I need to get some photos up and get a new siggie.  Maybe one with the traveling gnome in it, too... I might have to move again. ARGH!

Get a headset - I use the phone for work for an hour at a time and it is the only way to do it.

I've had this cheapie one for 3 years now with no problems

    Headset

Karen, I would...except they don't work too well with our 4-line system.  My favorite co-worker had one, but she constantly was getting disconnected trying to pick up incoming calls.  She quit using it, tried to give it to me, but since I already saw how much trouble she had with it, I said "no thanks".

    *Sigh.  Enjoy your trip, Tina.

Paige, we all want to know Tina's business!  We're nosy like that...  Where is the potential move to this time?

I figured it might take a while for you to stop laughing long enough to be able to piece it together.

Right about now everyone is probably thinking I shouldn't have stopped seeing my counselor.  Stick out tongue

Who needs a counselor when you've got all of us, and especially with Paige and her special talents? I do hope she'll share whatever she comes up with and even more so if it's naughty.

Tina - you're welcome on the trip to Maui too.

Haha - I really did laugh out loud, and the next thought that came to mind was "Is she on any medication, because these are some weird dreams!"  lol  Meds can really affect your dreams, even anti-biotics, sometimes.  I will have to do the analysis when I get home from work because I don't have my resources handy.  But it should be fun.

As for moves, this time, if it happens, it will be up to me.  Potential job offer for my sister would bring her to CA, (no idea when), and somewhat unsure if she would even accept it, but I'm not interested in following her there.  I'm a little tired of this situation.

I am munching on my x-rated candy corn, & considering calling it a day.  If I leave now, I could pick the monsters, ermm kids, up from school & we could get a good hike in before it gets dark.  Decisions, decisions...

Cathy - what color is your bikini?  I don't want mine to clash...LOL

Paige, no meds.  I take Zoloft daily, have for about 12 years, no change in dosage.

Amanda, go for it...leave early.  You know you want to...

I have 4 or 5, so we can share. Do you mind if they have the little ruffled skirt? What about the booby pads? Wink

Snowing in Vermont in late-November is pretty darn common. I had more than a few Thanksgiving drives home from college (Northern MA) complicated by snowy conditions. Plus, I think Killington does pretty decently with their snow-makers. The smaller mountains, maybe not so much, but the big ones...

So Amanda, are you and the troops going to visit us New Englanders on your way up? Big Smile (Just kidding! I'm just imagining you trying to explain the detour to the in-laws....)

Tina, what about something like this? http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phone-and-smart/softalk-shoulder-rest-telephone/4505-6448_7-32644180.html

Edit: although.... with all the i-doggers scattered between TX and VT, you could make some pit stops and unload 1 animal/child per stop, and you and DH could wind up in VT footloose and fancy free! Devil

Ruffles, no problem.  Booby pads are a must - I am over 40 you know!  The girls need all the support I can give them...LOL

Since I haven't been around much, I need a Corky update. I miss corky stories. How is she doing? What are her latest escapades?

I left the dogs outside at lunch today. They have been rebelling and refusing to come inside when they know I am leaving. So, today I got ticked and slammed the door, leaving them outside until I get home after work. Well, when I left it was nice and sunny. Around 4pm it started to down pour and thunder :( I feel bad. I didn't even leave the garage open so they could take cover. I'm sure they will be freaking when I get home. Not to mention soaking wet, muddy and stinky.

Here's my question for this week: should I take a first aid class thurs night or go to SAR training? I know I took first aid earlier this year through work but they didn't give us cards and now I can't get a hold of the lady that gave the class. So, I need to take it over and prove that I'm certified so I can pass my field certification for SAR. I just don't want to spend the money because I already took the darn class!
