Jackie, that's funny that your friend used to do that.  I picked that saying up from my cousin.  When she was going through chemo, I would call her to see how she was doing.  Her stock answer was "I feel ok.  I'd feel a heck of a lot better if I could convince someone to give my my coffee through an IV."  Any time that I say it around the kids, they smile & tell me that I learned that from their mom.

Finishing my Southwest Chicken Wrap.  A wrap with chicken strips, lettuce, pico, guacamole, this spicy/ranch sauce, melted cheeses, and green onion.  Chips and salsa on the side.  *licks fingers*

Oh man, that sounds delish. I'd bet I could eat 2 or 3 of them right now.

Tina - sorry about the stiff neck. I used to have those all the time. I'd begin to get better and turn the wrong way or sleep the wrong way and bam, it was back. I remember it would make me feel crummy all over. Motrin always helped a lot. When I started working out, they came to a stop and that alone was motivation to keep up the exercise.

My BFF called this morning to tell me that she's been cut another day at her job. She'd already gone from 5 days to 4 and now they're all cut to 3 days a week. The company is hanging on by a shoestring and I doubt it'll last much longer. I know I shouldn't be jealous, and I'm not really, but I want to go to 4 days a week so badly I can taste it.

Glenda, I like that I can finally see all of your dogs now! They are gorgeous......German Shepherd's are really growing on me since I've joined this board...and I DO love Corky :)

I bought a new camera yesterday :) A little Canon Powershot A.....2000IS. It seems to work great. Now I just need to get some new photos of my puppers to post and perhaps a couple of Sally bunny and Strawberry our tame society finch.

I bought YELLOW nail polish today. I love it. hehehe. I'm not a huge fan of yellow in general, but that fact that nail polish comes in that color is amusing :)

I am absolutey THRILLED with my siggie.  I don't believe I've ever had one in all the years I've been here, and I sure haven't had a totally AWESOME one!

Not to mention....well, gosh, now all those folks who have questioned the existence of my dogs are now proven wrong......

Some days, I wonder about Shooter's desire to live.  He's driving me nuts, & I'm strongly considering strangling him.  I just walked back into my office to find that he has climbed up onto a file cabinet.  He was contently curled up in my fern!  When I walked in & saw him, I asked "What are you doing?"  The arrogant little !#$(%&# happily started wagging his butt at me.  If he weren't so cute, I would have beat him.

Well, if my sinus infection wasn't enough - Kate just called - she was diagnosed with the flu and is coming home because they don't want the kids staying in the dorms with it.  So, I'll probably end up with that too !!  We'll be fighting over couch time LOL !!!

Stacy, I know I am long overdue posting pictures, but I do not own a digital camera.

Cathy, I do work out and I have to be careful when I do certain stretches because I've aggravated the spot previously.  In part I honestly think it's from holding the phone between my chin and shoulder too much at work.  I keyboard a lot a work (data entry), plus getting my arm pulled when I walk dogs at the shelter, and how I sleep doesn't help.  I have white flower oil so applied some at lunch, plus took some ibuprofen.

Well Glenda.....they do all look alike...maybe you actually just have ONE dog and the white one is in a Halloween Costume? ;) hehehehe......I'm running to hide now.

Amanda, perhaps you need to run around with a head lamp CAMERA. Then you can make sure to capture all these hilariously adorable incidents on film/video.

Paige, here's another weird dream for you to analyze.  In my dream, I was in the bathroom trying to pluck an odd eyebrow hair that was thick and white and had an unusual texture.  IRL, I am blonde w/dishwater blonde eyebrows, so a white eyebrow hair would be noticeable (eek, I'm getting grey!).  Anyway, in my dream, I pulled it and it was a piece of dental floss.  Then I realized I had even more of them sticking out of my forehead, cheeks, and nose, so I kept pulling them and they were more pieces of floss!   I woke up before I figured it out.

Well, actually, I just borrow the dogs of strangers so I can make myself look like a dog owner, and then paint them different colors to photograph them........

Yep, my dog food budget would LOVE that!  LOL!

Yep, that's a killer for me too. I can feel it start to tense up if I'm on too long. I'd love to use my speakerphone more but I know some people don't like it. I've heard that Biofreeze works really well and they sent me a free sample, but I haven't tried it out.

I was going to go shopping at lunch but just feel too lazy to even go out. I really feel like I need a nap. I drank a cup of Sleepy Time tea last night at about 8 and konked out at 9. I shouldn't feel so tired today.

Less than 3 weeks till we leave for Maui - wheeeeeeeeeee :)

Speaking of vacation....MIL called to see if we would come up for Thanksgiving.  I really don't want to but I feel kinda obligated since they came here last year.  Is it, by chance, snowing in Vermont in late November?  That would make my decision much easier...
