Mindless Chatter Monday

It's in the high 50s now and it feels good to put on jeans and long sleeves, even though it's suppsed to get back to the low 80s again by the weekend. I dragged out the boxes of patio furniture covers but I guess I should clean of the chairs before I cover them and maybe hose the goose and duck poop of the patio umbrella. Things are starting to feel very "fallish" and "Halloweeny."

I threw out some rye grass seed in the back yard yesterday since we've been having some nice rains.  DH was not happy since if it grows, he'll have to mow the back yard all winter.  We were going to put down Bermuda sod but I think we will wait for early Spring.  This annual rye was pretty cheap and it would be so nice to have some sort of grass rather than the wasteland it is now.

Stacy, sorry about your BF's foot.  Hold his hand at Niagra Falls, it's slippery. lol

Willa had her 18 month doc appt today. It went pretty well but she didn't want the nurse or doctor near her!  She's 24.5 lbs (50th percentile), and 34.5" long (off the charts, as usual).

2 hours left of work! wooohoooo!

I had to drive my co worker home this morning, she was sick, her house is immediately behind mine which is about a half hour drive one way, i wanted to just stay home sooo bad. hehe

So today I am on my own here at the office and it's not too too bad.  But I have not eaten a very good lunch.  I am not hungry for the pizza pockets Derek packed for me, but rather my chips and my pieces of cake that I had to trim off of my new pumpkin cakes :D

I FINALLY got my demi-lune table yesterday! I love it!!!!  And Derek bought me a whole bunch mroe halloween stuff :D  yaaaaaay

Tonight for dinner is sloppy joes!

Could somebuddy please tell this techinically challenged old broad how to get my awesome siggie from a PM to the bottom of my posts?

Glenda, you know I am just as bad as you when it comes to figuring this stuff out. lol  DH put mine in my siggy after I tried and failed.  I think he copied the link from photobucket and pasted it in the place where you change your siggy, profile settings. I kept copying the wrong link from photobucket or something. lol  I think I know how to do it now but I might get you so confused your head could explode. 

Heather had to do the photobucket thing for me and then hold my hand and walk me VERY slowly through it!  I don't think I've EVER had a real sig as long as I've been with idog!

 I'm hungry, tired and have a miserable dog staring at me from his crate.

I've worked through a ton of stuff today so that is good.  But the list for today and tomorrow remains long............ and none of it is exciting.  Is it 5pm on Friday yet?

I was just frustrated that the link got messed up in the email...I have no clue how the heck that happened!  And I should have known that trying to send it in a PM wouldn't work...I wasn't thinking I guess.

So glad it's working now!  Seriously, Candace is going to start charging us for these...she already said she wants Tastykakes in exchange for sigs, lol.

 Glad its working for you Glenda!  I jumped on the computer as soon as I got home to make sure you got it. 

Had my follow up appointment for the 2nd time about girlie stuff.  Everything is still all normal and negative so I feel much more relaxed tonight than this morning.  Now I don't need another pap for a whole 6 months!  Yay me!

Glenda and Amanda, those new siggies are fantastic.  Candace, you did an amazing job!  I love the pic of Tyler with his bear in his mouth and Corky in the background.  I don't think I have to figure out "what's for dinner" tonight.  DS #2 had today off so he went with me to Babies R Us to get a gift certificate for my nephew and his wife and I took him to lunch at a great Italian restaurant called Carino's.  He had a plate of Italian nachos that looked like it would feed four people and then some. I had 1/2 parmesan chicken panini and 1/2 caprese salad, but added to that was delicious hot bread w/toasted garlic olive oil for dipping so I don't think either of us is going to be hungry before tomorrow.
