Well surprise surprise, useless co worker didn't show up today. She has a week of working at 50 % and that was too much for her. She got her raise, now back to being utterly useless.
I spent a couple hours in the ER last night with FH. We went to bed around 10:00 and I made him get up at about 11:00 because I thought I heard the birds making a racket downstairs. Apparently, I must have dreamed I was being attacked by finches. There was no noise. He went to check and heard nothing, but on his way back to the bedroom, he bumped into a fan that was in the hallway and sliced his foot on the BOTTOM of the fan - there are usually plastic parts protecting the bottom, but this is an old fan and just has four metal legs. So we got the bleeding stopped pretty quickly, duct taped it up and off we went to get stiches. hehehe. It has probably been a year, maybe two since I've had to take him to the ER! That's a pretty good record.
On a more excited note, we are going to Buffalo and Niagara Falls this weekend :) I have never been to Niagara Falls so I am excited. Plus I'm pretty certain that I RULE at blackjack.
