M/C Thursday

    M/C Thursday

I nearly took Agnes's Enalapril this morning!  I take Zoloft, it's always the first thing I do when I get up so that I don't forget.  I was half asleep, opened Ag's med bottle first instead and threw the pill in my mouth.  Fortunately I realized it, got it off my tongue before I swallowed the orange juice.  Close one!

How has everyone else's day started off?

So far - pretty good.  It took my usual 20 minutes to get to work instead of the 2 1/2 hours it took yesterday.  I missed out on giving Jackie a hug yesterday so . . . . . .

I was awakened by the sound of ripping fabric.  Yep Jaws (aka Theo) was diligently ripping apart a dog bed.  I really get so sick and tired of mending the darned things!

It isn't even 60 here yet this morning!  Happy Days!!  I put on a sweater to go out for my smoke this morning!  Absolutely LOVE this cooler weather!

Haven't heard anything on Jen yet, so am hoping she had a good night.  Honestly, I'd rather they keep her IN the hospital for a day or two, but I know that they would rather send patients home.  I would feel more secure knowing she was still inside.

{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}} For Jackie, I cried with you girl.

Glenda I hope no news is good news.

Shari....you have to wonder, would it have helped any? Taking Agnes medicine I mean.

I am catching a cold, just your normal everyday variety me thinks. Probably head and chest. So I will be sucking up more soup.

Typhoid Mary is back in the office. I put his charts for the day in his office instead of mine. I told him it was so he could rest and not have to walk so far. I do not think he bought it since he still has to walk out here to get his patients.......it sounded good!

Ok, work must happen. But I really want a nap.

Tina, I'm glad that you realized that you had the wrong pill before you swallowed it!

DS#2's school is closed today & tomorrow because they have had excessive abscences due to flu.  He's taking full advantage of getting to sleep in.

We had a stufficide this morning. Confused  I walked into the living room to find Brinxx, Angel, & Shooter playing tug-o-war with a stuffed weiner dog.  Before I had a chance to tell the to drop it, it had ripped into three pieces.  Stuffie guts were all over the floor, & Shooter immediately started work on getting Brinxx, & Angel's pieces away from them.

I was painting yesterday, and turned to see spots of paint across the hardwood.  Darn, I thought I'd stepped in it and tracked it.  They were so even though.

I looked closer.  They are shaped like chihuahua feets.  Kya stepped on the mixing stick and tracked it across the floor.  Thank goodness it was wet enough to scrub off!  Kya wasn't so happy about her scrubbing off though.

Tina, I ate a Charlie Bear dog treat the other day by accident.  I had been snacking on some Goldfish crackers and then I went to get a treat for one of the dogs from my pocket (the treat bag) and popped it right in my mouth.  Ptooey!

Glenda, I'm jealous of your cool weather but they say we have some on the way.  Glad Jen's surgery went ok and maybe, just maybe, this will really be the road to recovery for her.

Dawn, hope your cold is mild and the soup lasts.

Amanda, Twister does the same thing when stuffies are killed at our house.  He gets ALL pieces and innards and woe to any dog who thinks he will share.  Hope you are feeling better today.

It seemed awfully quiet at our house last night and this morning.  Deb, that hug almost suffocated me but you always are over the top!  Just kidding, girl.  Big Smile

My glasses are supposedly ready, for the third time.  Why do they call the house when I have told them repeatedly to call my cell?   I could have picked them up yesterday but didn't get the message till I got home from work.

Would it be wrong of me to admit that, when I was a kid, I'd taste the dog's biscuits to see if the ones that were different colors really were different flavors?

Clearly we are twins separated at birth Wink Yup I did the same.  I recall I like green the best and that my dog liked all of them. ha ha ha ha

Took B (not limping today) swimming this morning at the lake.  They have erected a temporary fence at the 'beach' section to try to keep the geese away (or more likely to keep the humans from feeding them which is causing an overpopulation and subsequent bacterial issues) so we had to find a new spot.  Worked out just fine, but I had this awful feeling that if he took off I was less able to 'get him'.  I had a long chat with a young guy working there explaining I had a much better way of ridding the 'beach' area of geese Wink And he is right here to do the job.

I have a client in an hour and they haven't forwarded the information due to me 24 hours before the session.  I am less than pleased as now I will have to address this issue instead of doing what we should be doing.  But I need to find out what the problem is, they are not stupid

My foot is hurting today - sorry shouldn't mention that around Annie should I?

    OK had best start prepping............

My oldest sister used to feed me the doggie treats that looked like pretzels.  Of course she locked me in an old shipping trunk in my grandmas hay loft when I was two....

LOL!! The dog treats are probably more nutritional than the goldfish crackers.

I had a disturbing drive in. I was at a stoplight and saw people standing around staring ahead. It was at a very busy intersection, so I figured there was an accident. When the light turned, I realized everyone in my lane was getting over and once I was able to and moved forward, I could see that it was a young guy lying in the crosswalk with several people standing around him. He must've just been hit because no cops or medics had arrived yet. There was a huge pick-up truck right there too, so I assume that's what hit him. He wasn't moving and one of his legs looked bent at a very strange angle Sad
