I thought I was going to be ahead of the game and get my package out today, but the post office had other plans.

I gathered up everything for my package, wrapped and addressed it, waited for the post office to reopen after their extremely annoying cost saving lunch closure was over at 1:30, bundled up against the wind and hiked to the post office only to find a note on the door that said they had closed the lobby at noon today. I got bills, I thought they were open. Who knew!!!

If I can manage to get there between 8:00 and 10:30 in the morning I'll get it out tomorrow. Otherwise it will be Monday

Even with this little glitch, I've had a lot of fun with this project. Thanks for letting me participate.

I got my package today!!! I haven't opened it yet because part of me wants to wait for Christmas but of course the other part wants to open it now, right this minute. What to do, what to do?! lol I may ask the dogs for their opinion. I'm pretty sure what they'll advise. OPEN IMMEDIATELY!! What is everyone else going to do? Open or wait?

I told myself I'd wait to open the package until December if it arrived in November and then once open, parcel out toys/treats/equipment to give to the dogs immediately and some i'd save for their stockings on Xmas. :)

I finally got my ss shopping done today! I feel like such a slacker, but its not even dec. yet so how much of a slacker can I be really? :) hopefully I will get it all wrapped, boxed and shipped out this week.

Mine came today!! I'm having the same dilemma .... to open or wait. I think I'll wait at least until tomorrow to peek inside and I might just save something until Christmas. I found the last thing I was looking for so mine should go out on Monday.

I finished my shopping today, so I will hopefully get it sent out on Monday or Tuesday.

My dogs' SS gift hasn't come yet, but they did get presents from me today, since I was shopping for dog stuff anyway. Smile I figure they don't care what day it is and they know I have goodies for them; why make them wait?

My dogs get treats and stuff pretty regularly. They also have an overflowing toy box, so MINE can wait. But I think everyone should have the option. After all, it's not like anyone will really KNOW, unless someone tells on themselves! Embarrassed

I found an awesome toy today for my SS - at the grocery store of all places! Willa held it the whole time. LOL

OMG! Karen, give Bugsy a big smooch from Max. I opened the box and I had to give Max one of those Blue Dog Bakery peanut butter and molasses cookies because he was going nuts. He could smell them. Actually, they smell so much like gingerbread I'm having a hard time not eating one myself. I'm going to save the gingerbread house with the three little squeaky toys that fit inside and that darling "sufffingless" squeaky squirrel for Christmas. And that beautiful snow flake collar fits him great since it adjusts from 10" to 18" and his neck is about 17". Thank you guys so much!!! Many, many belly rubs for Bugsy!

We bought stuff on black Friday at Petco, and oh boy was it packed!!! I figured it wouldn't be that bad- but I was wrong. I just have to wrap, pack, and mail it- hopefully by Monday, if not then Tuesday for sure!
