Deb, does your daughter use the line "it tastes like chicken" frequently as an adult?

I can't wait till she gets psycho-analyzed and tells the therapist that her Mother made her eat chicken every single day of her life for 10 years.

Glenda glad your niece is doing better - as for DIL and asthma all I can say is that if she is asthmatic and has an anxiety attack that alone can cause an asthma attack and aggravate one too.  I am not prone to anxiety but can say that I don't particularly find any rhyme nor reason to when my chest feels good or bad.  There are various things now that do really help alleviate potential attacks - I use Symbacort, tried Advair but that didn't agree with me. If she isn't using one of those she should.

OK my toe is still very swollen and super, duper painful. From my internet research it is likely a sesamoid injury - either sesamoiditis or a stress fracture.  I'll keep icing when i can and will contact a doctor on Monday if no different. Insanely irritated to have this happen.  I have had a serious of junk going on with my right leg and it must be biomechanical but enough is enough!  And just when it appeared B was ready to get back out there with me.

Also had the pleasure of a mammogram this morning - did take my mind off my toe for a bit though LOL

Going out to lunch today - woohoo!  Then a few more clients and then it is Friday night!  start the party

Yay, I'm so glad it's Friday and this crazy week is almost over. It's going to be 100 tomorrow and I plan to do some cleaning and then play in the pool. I feel like doing some yard work but I think I'll wait until it cools down on Sunday.

Deb, be honest...you were disappointed with your score weren't you?  I know that I was...

I was disappointed in my score simply because it demonstrated what a square peg I am...

Ummm, Tina?  At least you took the test.  I knew in advance I'd flunk!  Guess that makes me a BIG square peg.

I so hope that by now DIL's mom has relieved DS so he could go home and get a few hours sleep NOT in a hospital chair.

My dogs will be happy puppers tonight.  The market had their raw.  I have been absolutely craving hot dogs lately, so caved and got some, and also ground meat to make chili sauce for chili dogs.

AND, I got smart today.  One of the churches is doing a fundraising steak dinner in the parking lot, and it dawned on me that if I gave some of my business cards to the owner, who lets these folks do fundraisers, he could pass them on to the folks doing them, and then they could give me the info directly for public service announcements.  Scouring the weekly paper, and checking out every bulletin board in town is getting old!  I do finally have folks calling me, but there are so many that I miss unless I happen to see them.  Hopefully this will help.  Every time I see a fundraiser, I stop and leave my card, so in time hopefully I won't have to look for any psa's but have folks getting all of them to me.  Sigh, the hassles of a startup station........

Does anyone do web advertising for their company?  If so, shoot me a PM.  I'd like to hear from an advertisers side why they do what they do.

Thanks Amanda! I'd have gotten 9 right but I got Bay Breeze and Sea Breeze mixed up. I had a chocolate martini once and it wasn't anything like I expected - blech!

I booked a hotel for our January conference and the woman called me to see what they could comp me. She offered me a concierge room but I told her I live her, so I wouldn't be staying at the hotel. She then offered me an IPod Nano and $50 of ITunes credit. I was pretty happy with that, especially since I usually just get a bottle of wine or a gift basket.

ATTENTION ALL SQUARE PEGS....I will be holding a "Help Amanda pack/Liquor Education" course this weekend.  With any luck, we won't remember the hassle of packing....

Congrats on the nano & itunes card, Cathy!  I would prefer that over a gift basket or bottle of wine any day.

I didn't take the drink quiz either, I know I'd do poorly.  I just call Deb or Amanda when I need info on alcoholic beverages. lol

Karen, so sorry about your toe.  I hate injuries like that and the older you get the more they seem to happen. 

DH had a scary meeting at work yesterday.  Hopefully his job won't be in jeopardy but it could be.  My worry gene is on high alert, quivering and flashing but I need to not get freaked out, yet.  

Busy, busy must get back to work.  I did tell DH I'd hire him as my assistant but we would kill each other within the first week.  He is the type to always want to reinvent the wheel and I'm the type, if it ain't broke don't fix it.  Of course, I would be his BOSS AT WORK!!  Oh, that might be nice until the divorce lawyer got involved. lol

Actually we just moved in May so I remember all too well the hassle of packing, and then unpacking. We unpacked 90% in 3 days, since we just wanted it DONE.
