    Ooooooooooooooooooh DO tell, Lisa !!

There was this once when I threw up rum and coke on a Priest at a dance at our brother school (I went to an all girl school)...

Or this other time we were having relay races in the hall with the wheel chairs

Or this other time we were caught in the parking lot having a beverage before cheerleading practice

Lisa, are you sure that you don't have a long lost sister?  That sounds very similar to someone that I know.....Embarrassed

You Catholics had all the fun.lol  Raised in the hard core Baptist church we were told that anything enjoyable was bad.   We did love the hay rides our church had every year.  It's amazing how much fun a nightime co-ed hayride can be. I still love the smell of hay, makes me feel frisky.  Wink

Jackie - I must've missed the posts about a new puppy. Tell me more.

Sassy has an appt this morning to get her thyroid checked and a HW done. I had to give her her thyroid meds as soon as I woke up, so I just gave her that in a little bit of food figuring I'd feed her the rest right before I left for work. Well, about an hour later, she threw up in the laundry room. I told DH to tell the vet tech and hopefully they'll still be able to do the test. I felt awful for Sassy. She never throws up and she looked so sad. I felt awful for myself too cause I almost threw up while cleaning it up Ick!. That's not like me either, but I feel really crummy today. I have a boatload of work to do, visitors will be here that I want to chat with but won't have time for and I have a hair appt that'll take me out of the office for about 2 hours. I'd reschedule but every day from now thru next Thurs. is going to be crazy. I need some vodka and peach tea Hmm

I'll have to think about that one.  Nope, couldn't think of anything. lol  DH would bust a gut laughing if he read this! Wink  He probably has a list of times I've felt less than frisky.

Cathy, I found a puppy yesterday.  Story and pic's in General Chat.  Sorry about Sassy and the upchuck.  I hope you feel better soon.  Maybe getting your hair done will perk you up.

I missed the 10:30 app't for the pup.  **tapping fingers impatiently for coworker to return**  He's not even answering his phone.

Thanks, Tina!  I'm actually thinking of putting the phone on the service and leaving.  Patience, Jackie.  Oh good, I just got hold of the missing coworker and he's on his way back to the office.  Keep all digits crossed we find a chip and the info is current.

OMG, I just looked at the thread and picture. She's adorable and you're an angel for taking her in. I can't believe she's been abandoned, but I said the same thing about Sassy. I hope the vet check goes well. I'm going to be thinking of that sweet face all day today.

The new/temp guy has received an offer from a co. in NY. He was also given a tentative offer by our boss the other day and he said he'd love to stay. The person the boss wants to let go and fill with the new guy is supposed to be here this morning. She has no idea of anything even being discussed but is usually paranoid about her job status anyway. I hope she doesn't ask me anything.

Been there, done that, good times. Smile A nighttime hayride with BF was also the first (and so far, only) time I ever saw the aurora borealis. Magical! BF and I had only been "an item" for a week or so at that point... and here we are, 6 years later. Must have been a good omen!

Annie, my arm is looking much better.  I am hoping that I can get a cast next week.  I never thought that I'd be excited about having to wear a cast, but I keep bumping it, & it hurts like heck when that happens!  Bru seems a little better this morning, & I think that I may have found the problem.  He eats kibble at night & raw in the mornings.  He started a new bag of kibble on Sunday night.  DH usually feeds Bru & Chyna in the evenings.  Last night, I ended up getting their food together, & Bru's bag of food looks off.  It's off colored, & very dry, so as of last night he's a totally raw dog.  He ate last night, & this morning.  Hopefully, we're on the right track.  I called the company, & am sending them a baggie of the food along with his vet bills from this incident.  Not sure how happy they are going to be to get that bill, but whatever.

I just finished a package of oreos.  I'm still starving.  I'm going to be running forever tonight to burn off all of those calories!
