Alright, you've "forced" me to brew a pot of coffee for myself. I bought flavored creamer yesterday, so it's not like I haven't been craving it for a few days. Although, it's been a while and this is a new coffee maker. The pot came out opaque! lol Better that than too weak, I suppose.
The house appraisers came in today, so I had to shuffle all three dogs out at 8:30am. Brought them down to the park, where G was great aside from PULLING when I put her on lead, and barking at the rollerblader who came up behind us while I was trying to leash her back up after a free run. Poor guy, she was barking at his wheels as he tried to stop so I could collect her. Luckily he'd owned Dobes before and laughed it off. A lady asked if her child/grandchild could pat the dogs. I honestly don't trust Henry around kids, I know Patrick will lick children until they fall down, and Gracie tends to just sniff their faces, then walk away, so I declined. Well, the kid (maybe 2) started crying, so I offered to let Gracie loose so I could keep the boys away and let the toddler pat G. Worked out okay. It's tough, because Henry is the cutest, but he's a little b*stard and should not be trusted. Patrick LOOOOOooves kids, a little too much. G is just aloof, unless they start to run.
Truley, glad you DH is home!!!!
Cathy, I've been thinking of you and your husband all week. Sounds like the first day back was tough, but I'm glad it gives you a reminder to keep taking it easy. :D I hadn't seen much of the news lately, until yesterday. All day, our local news was talking about the haze that covered downtown Denver because they say it came from the fires in California. Then seeing the images of the CA fires on the national news, with the firefighters' camping areas for sleep between round-the-clock shifts....*shudder*... so scary for the people living there, and the men and women fighting that fire.
