Mindless Chatter Wednesday.

I wonder if she is just too busy playing to get up and go to the bathroom?  Maybe you should start making her clean up her mess and see if that helps to make it inconvenient enough for her that she will stop playing to go to the bathroom?  Just a thought, but what do I know! 

I got an email that Starbuck's has Pumpkin Spice Latte's again...I stopped going when they closed the store that was right on my route into work but I may have to go out of my way now b/c those are my very favorite! 

Stupid question, but do Lattes have any coffee in them, and/or do they taste at all like coffee?

Yep, I think it's basically like a cup of coffee with hot milk and froth on top. You can also get an iced latte and I love those in the summer. Gosh, now I'm really wishing I had one and pumpkin spice would be yummy!!

I couldn't believe how bad yesterday wiped me out. I had all kinds of plans to do stuff when I got home and I didn't do much of anything. I went to bed early though and slept like a rock, so I feel better today. It's supposed to be 100 today so I'm going to give Sassy a medicated bath this afternoon. She's still so itchy, so I hope that'll help. I'll have to be very sly about getting shampoo and stuff out. She's very intuitive about bath time and will go and hide under the boat in the garage and even tasty treats won't get her out.

Pretty quiet day here in MC.  Is everyone off work for an extended holiday?

 My 3 year old niece is potty trained since she was 2 and at the end of last year and until about February of this year, she started to pee her pants no medical problem her problem was that she's to lazy to get up because she's either to busy watching tv, playing, so we had to make it a point to keep asking her do you have to pee she would say no no but sometimes I would make her go to the bathroom and of course as soon as she sat down she peed.

Just keep asking her over and over again my niece is doing better now but she was just like ur daughter she would always go when she had to but then got lazy about it, thank god she's back to going pee in the toilet lol 

Also I'm addicted to Halls Defense VitaminC Strawberry flavored cough drops, they taste like those strawberry candies with the soft middle I can't stop eating them lol

Pretty quiet day here in MC.  Is everyone off work for an extended holiday?

I keep popping in here but work interrupts.  Well, I did spend a little time farming and fishing.    It was 68 here this morning!!!  It felt wonderful and it must mean that this summer will finally end.  I am itching to start working in the yard and many of my plants need repotting.  I have about 40 potted plants outside and they all need attention of some sort.  Belle is going to be at work this afternoon, I'm leaving to go get her.  She's due for a rattlesnake vaccine.  She loves coming to work.

Is candy corn brain food? I hope so. I have a dog on my left, a dog on my right, and a candy corn bag on my keyboard. I have to get this paper done, I have to get this paper done.

Now this will seem like an even dumber question, lol is it possible to order a latte with no espresso?  I hate coffee lol but pumpkin spice sounds good!!

I am excited, because walmart has halloween decorations out!!!  I am decking my house out this year, with gravestones and all! and Derek said I should dress up as a witch to hand out candy!! wooohooo halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm betting that you wouldn't be the first person to request that and it'd basically be a cup of warm milk with pumpkin pie spice in it. There's also some really great Chai teas for the non-coffee drinkers.

Cathy, I have to give my dogs a bath tonight too. Fortunately they are both little, so they both go in the shower with me. I have an attachment that hooks up the the shower head, but has a sprayer on the end. Makes life way easier.

I'll trade you a big dog and a hose for your 2 small dogs and a shower. We have a huge shower and both Sassy and I could fit in there, but it has glass doors and I worry that if she panicked, it wouldn't be pretty.

PUMPKIN SPICED LATTES!  MUST go to Starbucks; those are my favorite.

I, too, have been very busy farming and fishing in the midst of working my new job....which I love!  It is so nice to be an integral part of a team again.  And, the new boss is just a lovely, thoughtful woman.  Oh, and getting ready for our cruise to the Bahamas next week.  I am looking so forward to it....we haven't been on a vacation for 6 years!  We are definately due!

We called that a 'milk steamer' or something. You could order it with caramel, chocolate, whatever.

Cathy, I'll keep my two little ones. It'll be 9 or so before I'm home from school and bathing them, so I better stick with my little dogs...that way I'm in bed before midnight LOL.

This is different from a cappuccino, which is the same espresso shot, but with WAY MORE foam and just a liiiiittle milk. Or, if you are really persnickety, no milk at all - a 'dry' cappuccino. I worked in a coffee shop for a summer ;)

 

Okay, Meg, doesn't that just make a dry cappuccino an espresso?  Egawd, people take this coffee thing over the top.  I love my espresso, have had many a cappuccino, but I don't do those flavor things.  Anyone in Italy would keel over dead if they knew we put pumpkin pie spice in them over here.  A proper cappuccino should only be served with a shot of Amaretto, and I don't mean that flavored pancake syrup crap.
