Introducing, Tiki-Boo (and Pirate, too!)

Ok, ok, I'm sorry I teased like that -- introducing, Tiki!

She's a little shy :)

She's from the same shelter Pirate came from - the sheriff's department found her swimming in the Intercoastal Waterway! She was at the shelter for two weeks or so, and nobody has come to look for her, so she's ours! Since BF is on the Board, there, they 'agreed' to let us take her home on Saturday and give her a test run for the weekend, but I'm pretty sure she's staying. BF LOVES her, and it's mutual, she adores him. They both walk super slow, so she walks with Dad and Pirate and I walk fast.

She's definitely hard-of-hearing...we haven't decided if she's completely deaf, or not. We don't really care :)

So far, her favorite things are sleeping in comfy places, and begging for food.

DUH! If you all can't tell, we're pretty sure she's all Westie :) Under all that HAIR! As soon as we sign all the papers, she's going to the groomer!

Pirate has really stepped up, I'm proud! Tiki's learning to pay attention to him, and he's learning to watch out for her :) It's so cute. Yesterday he pointed out a squirrel on our fence and they both barked like maniacs LOL.

I'm tempted to ask the groomer to do a typical Westie cut, but I don't know any groomers around here, and I'm AFRAID at what I'll get back, LOL. I might see how a nice trim looks and then go from there. Is it wrong to ask them to cut her hair into a mohawk, too? Pink mohawk?? :)

She's a cutie -- it would be a hike for you to come all the way to Orlando to Billy's favorite lady, Marilyn, for a groom. But she's adorable. And I'm glad she and Bry are getting along so well -- and Pi too -- gee whiz, now we're gonna HAVE to get to gether for a dogfest!! LOL

Tiki!! Oh she is just what you all needed and she needed you guys. How perfect is that? Pi man, I am not surprised that you are stepping up and showing the new gal the ropes. I'm so happy for all of you. :) Give both of them a smooch from me.
