Emily, I'm just now reading this, and my heart goes out to you. To echo what so many people have already posted -- your strength, grace and faith are inspiring. I cannot imagine going through what you described and how you and your husband felt on the long ride back to Boston, seeing the ultrasound, knowing your little boy was fighting. May your recovery, both emotionally and physically, be aided by the love and support you have from your immediate and extended family and friends. You have my deepest sympathy; I'll keep you and your family, and of course your sweet baby, in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Thank you so much everyone. The past few days have been pretty good. Our house has never been so clean! lol And well preparing for Meri's 2nd bday has helped. I know I will still have some rough days, but at least I'm having some good ones. Thanks again!

Emily, tell Meri that she has lots of Aunties wishing her a very Happy Birthday! I never get enough of her darling face and I know you must be spending as much time as possible snuggling with her.
