You know it's time to do laundry when....

I finally did laundry because I was having to use beach towels instead of bath towels!

    You think that's bad?

Im going to do laundry as soon as I post these because the dogs towels are dirty!!

DH once tried to help put away laundry... but put away two baskets of DIRTY clothes!

In his defense, there was several hampers and some WERE clean, but he just chose the wrong ones

I'm doing laundry today, and I'm even able to hang it outside to dry!  The forcast called for rain, but there isn't a cloud in the sky.  We were also starting to use beach towels instead of bath towels Embarrassed

I do all of our laundry.  I think in the seven years I've been with fiance, he's only done the laundry once....and when he did that he wrecked this really nice shirt I had that was all embroidery.  He's also a fan of piling the clothes on top of my dresser instead of in the hamper that is three feet away from the dresser.

The laundry is a battle I just find easier to do myself rather than trying to teach him.   I have come to understand that he will never learn.

I hear ya' on this one but it turns out they learn all about pretending not being able to grasp the extremely complicated, difficult task of doing laundry at "man school", it's a plot, I'm telling you. lol   Funny how they can learn the most complicated video game or put together all sorts of "man" toys but the washer and dryer are way more complicated. LOL

It's just a simple case of "I don't wanna do that."   And darn, they win most of the time.

I do my own laundry so I have no one to blame but myself. Most times, I think to do laundry when I'm on my last pair of clean jeans.

This isn't always just a *guy* thing.  I remember my mom telling me years ago about how she accidentally let a pair of red socks get in with the whites and my dad, who was in the Navy at the time, had pink underwear for a few days until he could dash to the PX and get some more.

Oh gosh, accidentally putting a dark sock in a load of whites is easy done.  But just picking up an armful of clothes that CLEARLY includes lights and darks and just bunging it in, and wondering why whites don't stay white.... THAT is a guy thing!  Wink

DH pegged the washing out today.  He did it in an engineer-y way - the line is perfectly balanced eitehr side of the prop, so the clothes aren;t threatening to touch the floor at one end.  Good man.... I shall make him do it more often!  He may be no good at putting it IN, but he can manage to put it OUT, so taht's our way forward....  Find something they CAN do and capitalise on it, and don't forget to click-reward....
