I AM going nuts. I'm taking time each and every day to enjoy the wildlife.
If that's the definition of being nuts, I've been crazy for my whole life. lol I spend time every day outside in my little garden area watching the "wildlife", it's what keeps me sane. LOL
Absolutely the same here - if I can't get outside and check everything out I go nuts. The more nature I can commune with the more peaceful my soul.
Oh yes. Oh yes indeed.
So all of us are tired and sore today after spending time out at the farm. Kord is even playing low key, thank doG for small favors.
I managed to get my sore tired self out of bed and to the garden this morning, it was soaking wet, so it did rain sometime overnight. I had to add some more dirt around some of the plants, this constant rain is eroding the ground around established plants now, and that is never good. So I fixed those, weeded and planted leeks, radishes and celery this morning. I now have a headache and plan to relax the rest of the day.
We brought home some fresh from the chicken chicken eggs and venison brats from the farm, so I am making eggs and biscuits, yummy, fresh brown eggs, got to love them.
When we got home last night we had a surprise waiting for us. We pulled in and startled 2 young kittens. Little grey tabby fluff balls. The skittered off and I told my husband the neighbors unfixed cat has been busy. Well this morning when I pulled in from the garden I caught a glimpse of movement between the garages, and sure enough one skinny mama cat was feeding Frick and Frack, yes they all have names now, yes I fed them. Yes I took pictures. I have 2 cats indoors and cannot take them in, but if I can get them tame enough might be able to find homes for them. I had to scatter the dry food I put out because one kitten was very dominate over the other and even hissed at Mama cat. That will not do, she is a good mama, skinny to the point of emaciated, but the kittens are both fat and sassy.
Breakfast calls.
