Where does your dog sleep?

Much as I adore my furbabies, I can't stand dog hair on my couch or in my bed....so my puppy Callie (9 weeks old) sleeps in her crate at night, on a soft comforter, and my Buster sleeps on his big doggy bed in the family room.

When the husband goes on a call or in the winter he has to stay over so they sleep with me. Otherwise the have their own beds in our room on the floor, even though there are a few bed they some how fit into one.

When traveling, and right now since he is not allowed to jump up on the bed because of his surgery--Marley sleeps in his soft sided crate. He loves that crate.

Under normal circumstances Marley sleeps on a dog bed in our bedroom. If we let him sleep anywhere in the house...we would have the midnight wanderer and who knows what kind of mischief he would get into![:)]

Beauty sleeps on a blanket on the floor.  Sometimes she starts the night on the bed, but I usually end up kicking her in my sleep, so she usually doesn't even bother getting on the bed anymore.

Sophie sleeps in her crate to keep her out of trouble.

My foster dog (Maxx right now) is crated in my room at night, by the door. Maggie sleeps free in my room - she has a bed but prefers the throw rug by my bed instead.

Chyna & Schatzi sleep together on bed in my bedroom.  Bevo sleeps in bed with me.  If I have visitors staying at my house, he forsakes the bed to sleep at my bedroom door.  Brinxx sleeps on her bed in the living room.  Shooter tends to be a wanderer.  He usually decides on the bean bag chair in the living room.

Chazz has always slept on my bed.  Buck will always come upstairs with me when I go to bed but as soon as I'm tucked in, he leaves and goes to couch.  I don't know why he does this.  I would prefer he sleep upstairs with me.    He does come and check on me during the night though.  Especially if there's a bad thunderstorm.  He comes upstairs to make sure I'm not scared     [sm=smile.gif]
(just kidding - I think he's a little unsettled by them but he does not panic.) then he'll go to sleep on the floor beside my bed.

Tyson sleeps on the bed with us. For some reason, though, he has to sleep as close as possible to me... I find it half cute and half annoying. (I like to sleep at the edge of the bed -- I always have my feet sticking out of the covers, over the side of the bed [can't have em covered], but Tyson takes it a little too far, literally.)

Sometimes he shares my pillow, sometimes he uses ME as a pillow, but either way, hes always super close. Good and Bad.

Molly sleeps in her bed (crate) unless Moms watching tv and falls asleep then she sleeps at Moms feet on the sofa.

Molly is on the bed as I read a bit before lights out, then when the lights go out she jumps off and lays either on the floor (cooler for summer) or on her dog bed. Ben sleeps on the floor or his dog bed during the night but when I wake in the AM he is curled up on my bed at my feet.

We have a small reading room off of our bedroom. It has a small chaise lounge and the dogs crates in it. They all sleep in their crates. Off and on throughout the day I will often find them all cuddled up in one or two crates asleep. Whenever I leave they also stay in their crates. They are all very hot natured so we run a small oscillating fan all night. It also provides a slight hum that prevents them from hearing other people's barking dogs outside.[:)]

Teeny sleeps in her crate.  Wally sleeps in bed with me, under the covers, super snuggly.
