Where does your dog sleep?

• caveninit Posted : 8/3/2007 10:10:02 PM Much as I adore my furbabies, I can't stand dog hair on my couch or in my bed....so my puppy Callie (9 weeks old) sleeps in her crate at night, on a soft comforter, and my Buster sleeps on his big doggy bed in the family room. He loves that crate. Under normal circumstances Marley sleeps on a dog bed in our bedroom. • Katherine MacAlpine Posted : 8/4/2007 8:41:01 PM Chazz has always slept on my bed.  Buck will always come upstairs with me when I go to bed but as soon as I'm tucked in, he leaves and goes to couch.  I don't know why he does this.  I would prefer he sleep upstairs with me.    He does come and check on me during the night though.  Especially if there's a bad thunderstorm.  He comes upstairs to make sure I'm not scared     [sm=smile.gif] (just kidding - I think he's a little unsettled by them but he does not panic.) then he'll go to sleep on the floor beside my bed. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • alieliza Posted : 8/4/2007 8:57:47 PM Tyson sleeps on the bed with us. For some reason, though, he has to sleep as close as possible to me... I find it half cute and half annoying. (I like to sleep at the edge of the bed -- I always have my feet sticking out of the covers, over the side of the bed [can't have em covered], but Tyson takes it a little too far, literally.) Sometimes he shares my pillow, sometimes he uses ME as a pillow, but either way, hes always super close. • tzutzu Posted : 8/4/2007 9:04:00 PM We have a small reading room off of our bedroom. It has a small chaise lounge and the dogs crates in it. They all sleep in their crates. Off and on throughout the day I will often find them all cuddled up in one or two crates asleep. Whenever I leave they also stay in their crates. They are all very hot natured so we run a small oscillating fan all night.
