What breed(s) would you like own?

My three favorite breeds in no particular oder because I like them all the same are Rottie, German Shepards and Dobermans. I have been owned by a Rottie and a German Shepard before and my father in law had a Dobie that was awsome. I also reallly like greyhounds I have done some voluanter work with a group here and they are an awsome breed to.

My favorite part about doing a lot of fostering has given me the opportunity to expierence a lot of different breeds (and mixes). I am head over heals with the aussies - I just need to find one that doesn't jump out my windows, or try to eat my cats!!!

 The only breed I will ever own and do own is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I love the herding breeds, but Tootsie is so portable and living in an apt. or any apt. she is easily under the weight limit and I'll never have to worry about breed restrictions.

My favorites are:

German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Greyhound, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Lab (yellow), and Whippet, OR any mix of those from a shelter.

I'm pretty happy with my german shepherd, rhodesian ridgeback,and dobie. A few others i would seriously consider owning: American bulldog, great dane, greater swiss mountain dog, rottie, or leo. I also have really come to love papillons, but would worry about injuries since i will always own at least one large, energetic dog.

German shephers, always.  And shelter mutts!

Maybe Belgian Malinois or Dutch Shepherd.

Labs, of course- yellow or black.

Siberian Husky

Now, if it were up to jsut me, we'd have a black & tan Doberman, Norwegian Elkhound and a powder puff Chinese Crested at some point, too.

Gosh, there are so many and I'd be thrilled to have a yard full of shelter mutts, but if I could choose it'd be an Aussie and/or a Weim. I also love the Malinois...geesh, it's just too hard to pick. I love labs and goldens though and will probably work with the golden rescue group here when I can. I'm definitely a large dog lover but I'm not really picky.

Hmm, I'm interested in owning a variety of breeds.  I like Great Danes, Aussies, Chinese cresteds (more), Chihuahuas, Collies, Ibizan Hounds, and Peruvian Inca Orchids.  We'll see which ones are realistic though. lol

I think I will always have a Golden in the house. They just suit me *so* well. They're playful and active, yet calm and gentle at the same time. They're willing to go for a romp and a swim at the beach or laze on the sofa with you. They're so smart, friendly, easy to train and easy go lucky dogs. An all around great bread, imo.

Since having Chloe, I've really fallen for Pit Bulls. I've gotten to learn, first hand, just how misunderstood and mistreated the breed really is. They're actually such a beautiful breed, inside and outside. So, I'd like to rescue another one some day again.

I'd really love to own a true MUTT at some point, too. Most of my dogs have been mixed breeds, but with a strong breed mixed in that was pretty obvious to recognize. I want a true heinz 57 that resembles nor acts like any breed in particular. A true individual, I think that'd be neat.

Hubby wants a German Shepherd. I reallyyy want a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. I think this will be our next rescue, even if I have to travel far and wide. :]

Some other breeds I'd love to own are the Presa Canario, Norfolk Terrier and the Eurasier.

 I'll always have an AKK, so that's a given.  But I long for the day that I'll be able to have Siberians and Malamutes.  But that dream comes with a price, as I can't have rabbits and either of those breeds at the same time.  My 10 pound AKK give me a run for my money in terms of training and management between them and the rabbits, and it's out of sheer respect for the intelligence, problem-solving skills, and their size that I won't be combining either Mals or Sibes with the buns. 

My other three dream breeds?  Bernese Mountain Dogs, Finnish Lapphunds, and Rough Collies.

If I do get any more dogs the breeds I'm interested in (besides another chow, of course) are English Setter, Keeshond and Collie.
