Mindless Chatter, Freakin' Friday!

I just discovered Farm Town on Facebook and I am obsessed with it. I am so impatient though. I refuse to buy coins, so I will just have to wait for my crops.

we go to the beach later than i had hoped but it's been great - I do wish I knew how to get Bugsy to chill out.  He is so 'on' it is ridiculous.  We are fortunate that he is noiseless but he has to investigate everything.  We are on the third floor and you should have seen his face when we were on the balcony and he looked down- he clearly realized the earth wasn't underneath him.  At times I do wish he was simpler Confused  He hasn't pooped since this morning ( about 15 hrs ago) but did eventually eat his dinner.  I worry more than I should but it does negatively impact my enjoyment

I love those grape tomatoes but they can be really pricey

Honestly it was GREAT even with canned tomatoes. We have 10 grape tomato vines though, I'll ship you some, I swear. We'll have them coming out of our ears in a couple more days once they all ripen. BF counted over 70 the other day!

Oh, please do. They have then here for like $4.99 a pint.

    (warning - yucky spider story)

omgomgomgomg *doing the Homer Simpson tip-toe dance*

As I was just walking into the bathroom, I saw something on the floor. Please be a sock fuzzy... nope. It was a giant man-eating spider. EW! I swear it had eyeballs! EW! There was NO WAY I would be able to sleep if I knew that thing was in my house, so I mustered up all my courage and grabbed a wad of TP, opened the lid, swiftly picked up the spider and flushed! Whew. I got it! Although I do feel a tiny bit guilty for drowning the poor thing... but he should have stayed outside! There really aren't many bugs in the house. I still have the creepy crawlies.

Karen, STOP WORRYING & HAVE FUN!  We both know that a "simpler" Bugsy is not what you want.  Where would the fun in a "simple" dog be?  FWIW, Bevo is a total fool when he's at the beach.  On a normal day, he's "on" for about 20 hours.  At the beach, he's a live wire full time.  When we are on the beach, he runs constantly with a few stops to wade out into the surf, or to stalk a sea gull that is a little too bold.  When we're inside, he paces, & tries to convince us to take him back out to the beach.  When that does't work, he attempts to let himself out.  Tongue Tied

Cathy, I'm salaried so I work as much, or as little as needed to get the job done.  Essentially, I work 4-10's.  I work from 7-6 on Mon, Tues, Thurs, & Fri.  I don't work on Wednesdays.  I love it.  My days are really long, but it is sooo worth it.

I didn't sleep well last night.  I never sleep well when DH is not here.  Bevo is a good snuggle buddy, but he's not nearly as good of a snuggle buddy as DH is.

LOL trying and will be easier now as he has finally pooped (happy dance) - only about 24 hrs between poops this time. He is getting easier Stick out tongue

Bevo you are as silly as this nutter!  Bugsy stalks everything, chases all birds, digs for crabs, sniffs every shell, and this hotel is very popular with dog owners so he has the added bonus of being on permanent lookout for canine residents.

Last night we saw an Irish Wolfhound - WOW!! I hope to meet it today  - then I can see how puny Bugsy is

I'm salaried too and I think I'm going to ask if I can go to 4 9s in lieu of a pay raise. We've expanded in a huge way the last few months and I know a raise was in the cards, but I'd be willing to trade the raise for less time. Sounds like a good deal, right?

Sounds like a really good deal!  Fingers crossed that they will go for it!
