Whatcha reading?

I read Angels and Demons, it kept me entertained and was a good read. I hear he has a new book out. I just started a new P D James book, The Lighthouse, I love her books.  Water for Elephants was good, I can't remember the author either.  I'll have to grab a book by Ann Patchett.  Wait a minute, I have a stack of books to read already. Oh well, better get it while I still remember the recommendation. lol  Jonathan Kellerman writes some good psychological thriller books.  His wife, Faye, is an author too.  I enjoy everything they write.

Jackie:  did you know that PD James killed her mother???  If you ever get a chance - rent the movie "Heavenly Creatures", it was Kate Winslet's first movie ever and chronicles the events surrounding the murder.

 I've read Angels and Demons. I enjoyed it a lot and I can't wait to see the movie thou I'm a bit worried. Lol. As for other books, umm.. I'm not reading much right now. I just finished Velocity by Dean Koontiz. Good read! Very well written and I couldn't put it down. I also just finished Tommyknockers by Stephen King.. Bloody book gave me nightmares! Lol. But I enjoyed it as well.

The future author in that case was Anne Perry not PD James.  Perry's name was Juliet Hulme and it wasn't her mother who was killed it was the other girl, named Parker, who they killed.  I never saw the movie.  I don't mean to sound all know it all but it shocked me about PD James, so I did a little research.  Correct me if my research is faulty.

I just finished the 2nd installment of the Twilight series, New Moon. I read the first two books within a week. I am so obsessed. Every spare minute I had I spent reading and read until late at night. I'm going to wait until mid-week to buy the third book so that I can have a life for a few days before I crawl back into my reading coma. I watched the movie after I read the first book, I was a little disappointed because you can't feel the connection between Edward & Bella in the movie like you can in the book. But the movie was definatly good. The movie New Moon dosn't come out until November of this year and I cannot wait! I'll end up reading the books again before I see the 2nd movie.

I also love Tess Gerritsen's novels. Mostly the Jane Rizzoli series. It's hard to read any of her other books because you just get so entangled in the characters that you can't concentrate on the other books...maybe it's just me.
