I wish I had seen this sooner. There are charities that sometimes help if you can't afford a surgery, and I would have given you all the ones I know of. Plus, I know that some of us would have been happy to donate. See if you can get pet insurance from now on. It may help you not to have to suffer this kind of decision again. I'm just sick over this. Poor Max - run free little one.

I'm still at work but Max popped into my head a few times. There really are no words, I'm so sorry. He was one of the guys thats been on here for so long with us that I felt like he was my virtual dog. oxoxo

I love you guys(and girls-mostly girls actually)

Here's a recent, good picture of Max. I've got my bedroom door open, because I'd been leaving it open recently. Max had been hanging upstairs for a bit, then coming down to bed with me, so I closed it after he came down. Of course I wish he was going to come down tonight, but I know that's not going to happen. I think the last time I felt this bad was when I lost my first bearded dragon, who also got sick very rapidly and unexpectedly. he was my baby too, like Max was. Yes, he did sleep in my bed too.

Georgie now, in additon to being covered in tags, because our first dog was a runner, has pet insurance. Hopefully, we will never need it. I can't get either of them back, but at least I can do better,

I think tonight is worse than last night, because at least last night, there was hope I'd get him back.
