    Hi Everyone!

Hey, my name is Mandy and I'm a student in Boulder Colroado....I'm new to the board and thought I'd introduce my puppies and myself.    My dog is Axel Strauss (named after his older brother Levi Kenny meaning Levi Strauss Blue Jeans....Levi kenny passed away in september 2005 of Myasthenia gravis, genetic disease[:(] that came on very quickly when he was only 4 and a half years old.  He was a very shy but great dog!

After my first dog Levi, a flat coat retriever mix, ;passed a awaylittle Axel joined our family in November 2005.  We think he is part siberian husky part border collie and definitly part CRAZY! and is now 19 months.  I love spending time with him and are favorite activity is gooing to get the mail.  I love his 2 eye colors and soft pointy ears.  He is a great friend and I have enjoyed getting to know his amazing personality!

I have loved reading all of the posts so far...my only problem is trying to upload pictures.  Everytime I tried to put a photo for my profile picture and inside a post, the page always says the file is to large...any suggestions?   thanx so much!

[:D]Welcome to the board! I hope you can figure out how to post pictures of your fur kids! Hope you stick around here this is a great forum!

Try resizing your picture in paint or if you have a printer w/ a scanner it should have a program with the printer to resize the picture. Someone that knows more about resizing will come alone.

    hi and welcome..
I had the same problem with the pictures til i learned how to shrink em.

In your pictures file, select a picture,  right click on your mouse and go to edit.
then, go to image & use the stretch/skew button. I usually use 40% and then save as "new name" & put it in a folder (I called mine idog photos) & then you will be able to upload the smaller picture.   (i hope this helps)
