Dog sneezing phenomenon

I'm probably the only one weird enough to notice this, but I know that I love to sneeze, and it appears so does my dog. Every time she sneezes she gets very excited and energetic. I noticed that my dog sneezed a lot when I was petting her down her snout, usually when i started at her nose. Then I realized that giving her a little punch in the nose, if i hit dead on, would make her sneeze almost %100 of the time. My dog loves it, and tends to stick her nose in my face hoping ill give it a punch. Funny enough I can even do it numerous times in a row until she goes into sort of a sneezing frenzy and starts sneezing numerous times by herself. So I was playing with a neighbors dog and figured I would give it a try and whadayaknow, same reaction, and the dog loved it, once they realized a sneeze was coming. Then I gave it a try on some friends cats. If the cat is friendly enough and will let you pet it's nose vigorously enough for long enough, usually a little kitty sneeze will sneak out somewhere, but they don't seem to enjoy it as much as dogs. So I"m wondering, are all animals sneezing reflex somehow tied into their noses? I know I personally am a sun sneezer (someone who sneezes when the sun hits their eyes at the right angle for the first time in a while) and it feels like there is a reflex that if hit triggers it. Sneezing is great!
