Mindless Chatter TGIF

 It is 7:30 am. I am not a 7:30 am person. Reason why Im awake? Because my house smells like poop and I cant get the smell out. We moved Joker's crate from the dogs room to the living room. Well apparently he must have ate something on our walk yesterday or the treats I had didnt agree with him because all night long he had the craps. I took him out 4 times but he still had an accident in his crate. He got it all on his towel thankfully but the smell is still in here!! I cant stand it. The windows are going up!! Gonna get Joker some pumpkin to settle his belly.

Gotta go get Monk from the pound. They neuter animals that come from there for free and he went in yesterday to get his goods removed.

My friend called me yesterday and told me that Lillie's thyroid results were back and they were normal. I dont know what else to do now.

Ok back to bed for me.

And Kim, I'm not even gonna try to top your start to the day!  Yikes.

We are up and dealing with dog duty much earlier than normal since DH has an eye appointment, and since they'll dialate his eyes I need to go with to drive back.  DS will have dog sitting chores, but wanted to get them walked BEFORE we go, since no telling how long we'll be there.  The good news for him is that the practice seeing him for free is the same practice that he went to before, so all his stuff is on file with them.  Being diabetic, his eye health care is and it's been a year and a half since his last exam.  Too long.

I'm going on Monday, but they shouldn't dialate me.....well, I need it done, but if they do, will just wait it out.  Will be nice for both of us to have real glasses again.  I've been making do with readers from Rite Aid, and someone ate his distance glasses a couple months ago.  His glasses, his pillows.....must be something in his smell that attracts teeth!

I have a funeral to go to today.  Our 80 year old neighbor died in his sleep Wednesday morning.  He had been suffering from cancer.

One of DH's employees is in county jail.  Ugh.  Got stopped for some traffic violation and he was driving someone elses' vehicle (borrowed as I understand it).  But, the owner decided to report it stolen.  Why?  I dunno, probably more to the story than I really know.

Today is a "take a Bevo to work" day.  I'm sleepy & tired, but at least I'm entertained for the day!

Well, this morning started out... not as well as I would hoped, considering it is FINALLY! so warm ehre!! plus 16!!!!!!!!!!!!! yaaaay

but, the electricity in the office is going haywire, and luckily the server is back working again, but my office ha no lights on, just my computer and printer so I am working by the light coming through my window, however it's starting to get all cloudy outside lol eeeeeeeep

I am SO ready for the weekend.  Hopefully there will be some power napping with Jamison time.

 IT'S 51 DEGREES!!!!!!!

I feel like putting on shorts and frolicking.  I think I will...maybe minus the shorts though, my legs are VERY pasty from the long winter...don't want to offend the neighbors.

Spending the day outside in the warmth seems like a good idea to me.  I'll forewarn you all...I have the feeling I'm going to be going picture-happy today, so there might be a Nike-Honor-Eli pic thread later.

Woke up to the news that my stepson and daughter-in-law welcomed their second son to the world! No details yet, his name is Ethan!

Bevo has been out visiting everyone on our floor.  He just trotted back into my office carrying a Starbucks cup, & looking very pleased with himself.  I wonder who is missing their coffee??

Yay it's Friday! This is the first 5 day week I've worked in a long time, and I can feel it. Our Board was highly impressed with how fast we're growing and said that they want to discuss growing the Hq staff now. They specifically said we need someone to help me out, so I was thrilled with that.

DH told me last night that he's getting a lot of pressure to attend this gala function on the 26th. It's black tie, so I hope he decides really soon if were going. I seriously don't have a thing to wear and will need to shop.

 A couple of days ago it got up to almost 40. I saw someone driving around in a convertible, top down.

I can't imagine thinking that 40, 50, even 60 is warm weather.  We bundle up if it gets that cold. LOL  It was 84 here yesterday!  They say we might get rain on Sunday or Monday.  I'm going to wash my car and maybe even DH's, that should help the odds of rain.   Dog show tomorrow, can't wait.  A Dalmation adopted from a local shelter got 1st in Obedience the first day, so said the local paper.  I love reading stuff like that about adopted dogs!

Amanda when Bugsy was playing yesterday he stole the little girl's lemonade juice box.  he was carrying it around ever so gently egging her on to chase him   Which of course she did LOL I eventually got him to drop it and it was in perfect condition - juice still intact
