Don't know if anyone out there could use this, but it may help until you are able to figure something else out. Basically, you need to ask the bank to "produce the note" (i.e. original paperwork). Because so many of these mortgages are bought sold X times over the original paperwork is so hard to find they may back off for a while (it's not a fix) to help get your finances in order.
