I probably won't be on much next week because I am house sitting. There are 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 mule to take care of. One dog is very nervous, but I'm sure I can get her to come around. It is on the opposite side of town in the country. A huge log cabin on top of a hill surrounded by hay fields. Its absolutely beautiful! There is a pond also. I will be taking Rose with me, but I think I'll probably leave Colton at my mentors house because I don't know that adding another male to the mix would be a good idea. The biggest dog(probably lab/great dane) is a dominant male and I think Colton would either try to be dominant, which he does sometimes. Or he would try to play too much which means getting in his face and biting feet. I think he just has a little too much energy for the old guy. Rose on the other hand, will probably roll over and say "love me, love me!" Once in a while, she will stand her ground and lift her lip but if I say "Rose, chill!" shes done and will lay right down. Plus, she doesn't try to play non stop. And, I wouldnt trust Colton with the mule that is just in the yard. Well, not really a yard, but the house is in the middle of the huge plot of land. I think he would try to chase it and get hurt. I'm sure he could get used to a mule, but I'll only be there a week and I'm not going to try to teach him horse sense in that week. He'll be happy playing with the dogs at my mentors, so that will be fine for him.
I'll take some pictures of the dogs and the place. It will be fun having 4 BIG dogs for a week!
